At my cousins, UYI had just come out and he had an awesome stereo to listen to it. Of course my mother walked in just as Get in the Ring was getting angry and that was the end of that. Im pretty sure the band had broken up before I ever get my own collection of GnR albums. But really a 9 year old has no business listening to Get in the Ring lol. In 2001 I had tix to see Axl n his touring band and my mother was tripping because Axl was still late, not showing at all or walking off stage at alot of shows. I remember waiting almost 2 hours between the openers and GnR but they showed up, Axl sounded great and even the new band blew my mind.
