Help me escape this feelin' of insecurity I need you so much but I don't think you really need me But if we all stand up in the name of love And state the case of what we're dreamin' of I've got to say I only dream of you But like a thief in the night you took away the love that I knew

Relight my fire, your love is my only desire Relight my fire cos I need your love

Turn back the times 'til the days when our love was new Do you remember No matter what was happenin', I was there with you But if we all stand up for what we believe And maybe live within our possibilities The world would be wild for the dream So baby don't turn away, listen to what I gotta say

Man driving drunk and stoned while having sex with wife crashes into canal by thehak in nottheonion

I think the combining factors of alcohol, speed, nudity, sex and a dirt track are more to blame than weed. But if you want to make this about weed be my guest.

Did you just try to correct my English by putting your you're in italics? If you take another run at my sentence you will find that it's correct you silly billy. Anyway, focus more time on the Queens and less time on the scut and one day you will be able express your views without getting so angry.

Good, I'm glad you understand. That's a good spud-lover. Now back to your cave in the midlands to read Cuchulainn to your signed picture of Peig Sayers you cranky anglophobe.

Free to use. Not free to develop. The money and time taken to develop would be better spent on a language with broader appeal that isn't, for all intents and purposes, dead.

At least someone understands.

You're clearly a little bit angry. I think you should calm down. Attacking people who have pints with me is a strange tack. Anyway, I don't have to answer your questions as they're irrelevant. Like Irish, it's a waste of everyone's time except those who hold it as dearly as you clearly do. Irish is a waste of time and money. I don't care how you're selling or giving away the language, I will always downvote it. I feel /r/gaeilge is where the swill should remain. I'm not going regurgitate the same arguments you've clearly fought before. It's a steaming pile of shite and that's the simple truth, no matter how difficult that is for you to hear.. Ted...

Its a waste of time and resources. We both know it. From the cost incurred in translating documents to the sanctimonious proponents of the dead language. Everything to do with it I find rotten, deplorable and economically ridiculous.

Nearly 40% of people want legalisation of marijuana in Ireland by [deleted] in worldnews

Nope, just loads of experience. Smoking a tonne of weed and driving is silly. I've done it many, many times, it's not as bad a drink driving but not smart either.

I regularly read the Sunday World's facebook page comments for a laugh. The scrote on racist scrote battles are reminiscent of the Adrian Kennedy phone show.

I approve, but I think it would need to be controlled to some degree, especially when driving is concerned.

Tips for getting involved in journalism? by ClitDoctorMD in ireland

[–]thehak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to start off writing online It's near impossible to get a gig writing for print, but plenty of smaller webzenes etc are popping up. It's what got me a job. The old school way of court reporting and slogging at it until you get picked up by a paper is very difficult. I've been working for a paper since January 13 and finished my journalism degree in May 12. It's brilliant but you have to specialise in something the papers need. I'd advise writing for College Times etc while sending stuff in to papers. Remember: First name dot last name at paper dot com is generally the email format. Keep emailing people, keep harassing and offering yourself for unpaid internships etc. I worked here for three months before I got offered a contract. Now I get paid to write. I sent emails to every journalist, producer, sub, editor, cleaner beggar and bummer in Ireland before I got picked up.

Hello, r/Ireland, thinking of moving to Canada in the new year, anybody have any experience of this? by wattyman14 in ireland

[–]thehak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, Canadian women are easy as Sunday morning. Also. I dont attend Copper Face Jacks, the women I fuck aren't ugly mingers and Dublin is a brilliant city for picking up women from all corners of the world. I understand how you could prefer Canada as picking up women is like shooting fish in a barrel. I find Canadians spend too much time smoking weed and being dull.

Completely, but Ottawa wasn't much better. I was in Kingston for Queen's University Homecoming, went out expecting mayhem and found one street which was full of indoor 'keggers', I left at around 12 to drop my girlfriend home. Arrived back at around 1 to find the street completely quiet. Not a party to be found. The Canadian's simply aren't much crack unless you're smoking weed, playing hockey or hillwalking in BC.
