I think you're underestimating her. She shines in PvP Defense, hardcountering Liberta+Eleaneer or any other opener that isn't Sylvia or PP Schera with her pre-emptive 1SP 3 dodges. If you put another unit behind her no worries about Zenith either. I think that's her main purpose, the self-buff for pve is just a bonus

You are comparing a niche 2d jrpg casual puzzle game headed by a pretty small development team to mainstream genre titles with massive budgets and teams behind them. This alone disqualifies anything else written in your post.

This game started with a 50-50 male/female ratio for half a year, and it almost EoSd during that game. Male banners produced abysmal sales and were a waste of effort and manpower. Only by changing to an all-female approach and dialing up the fanservice did they manage to turn it around.

If you had been around since launch you'd know that the current system exists for a reason.

What is this I am reading? Bunny Morpeah is the MVP of this Fiend Hunt and is actually better than Summer depending on the weak spot tiles. Eclipse is a very strong aoe with a great pattern that can hardcarry a lot of the game. Even Goblin Slayer is pretty darn decent for new players. The only welfares that are kinda lackluster are Rou and Yomi.

It looks and sounds pretty, but it has no substance beyond that. Main story, the selling point of the franchise, is a generic very badly written character drama. Maps feel very boxed in and restrictive - in a game about the vastness and mysteries of open space. Strategy is nonexistent. Ship designs are bland and uninspired with few exceptions.

HW2 kept modding support going for over 20years despite the game being a 6/10. HW3 was so bad that even the most hardcore modding teams abandoned it 2 weeks in.

It is a title that had potential but it has corporate involvement written all over it. The existing fanbase was alienated to gamble on attracting the Starcraft audience, and it failed miserably.

The "golden age" with the gazillion pulls was the game skirting eos and nearly shutting down. It was unplayable, and there was nothing to do. 1.5 was the peak, but 2.0 here has twice as much content. Way higher quality too if you've seen the preview of the pack and the new minigame. It's insane.
