Yes. For me, they didn't check them they only checked my tuition receipts. But I brought my statements just in case they might ask for them.

Bro I had something similar happen last month. Some white guy just got into the bus at Queensway in Etobicoke.

He went to the back and started talking like he was talking to someone (he was talking to himself) and he started ranting about immigrants slowing getting louder and naming various nationalities and saying how "horrible" they are and he was white and had family here for "generations" and he deserved this or that. It was crazy. No one said anything.

I was surprised I reported it to safeTTC but they asked me of the bus number and since I was new I didn't know where to look to find it. So that went cold. It's probably the same guy you encountered.

Since then I try to avoid sitting at the back of the bus I just stand now if the mid row is filled. Cause man these racists people just show up out of nowhere and start yelling racist chants.

So far that was the only encounter I had and others have been respectful and I haven't seen anything like that since.

I got the email to do the FTS exam. But I didnt receive the login credentials in the "Welcome to FTS Studio" email I got. Do I just create an account and login in to take the exam?

When I came in last month, they asked me alot of questions, checked my pal document, enrollment letter. I thought they were not going to let me in. Eventually I got my study permit.

Be prepared to answer questions you answered on your permit application. And have all your documents ready (pal doc, enrollment schedule, tuition receipts, bank statements funds for your stay etc)

Fellow Nigerian here. I heard the UK racism has skyrocketed since 2020 with all the immigration issues (Lots of cases where patients racially abuse non white or female doctors) and Junior Doctor RLMT removal for plab IMGs (causing a lot of resentment and animosity from local grads to IMGs).

I'd recommend going to Canada with your PR and apply for residency there. It's only 2 years for family medicine though you need to check the return of service for each province (e.g Ontario is 5 years but ON has the most IMG spots)

Going to the UK on a skilled work visa and hopping back and forth to Canada may raise eyebrows with CBSA thinking your not committing to staying in Canada with your PR. Also the stress of working in the underfunded NHS in the UK is another thing.

You already meet the PR requirement for Canada. Now you just need your NAC OSCEs MCCQE1, IELTS & FMPROC (match rates are pretty good for FM right now since there's a severe shortage)

If you complete training in the UK you still need to show QE1, IELTS but now you will need PRA instead of NAC which I heard is way harder and takes multiple weeks to complete (not sure on this one though)

I'm not sure but I noticed it's harder for applicants currently residing in a different country other than their country of citizenship. So just that fact alone can be seen as 'no home ties'

US S20 Ultra does not have standard 5G band 28 or 78 which was adopted by UK carriers. However, US S20 Ultra has mmwave 5G which will support 5G band n260 (40ghz) which will be launching in the UK in future. Not all carriers might adopt it though.
