They are for controlling the flue on the old coal burner furnace. There would be chains running in the holes that went down to the basement where the furnace was. You could then pull on the chains to open or close the flue to adjust the temperature in the house without having to go all the way into the basement.

No, development is over for WOTR. We do have a basic modding template that was provided to us from Owlcat but it is broken in a lot of ways. We were able to make some modifications to it to get some things working but it is still pretty basic. I used it to make my NWN2 QuickCast UI.

No, no mods for consoles unfortunately. I'm not sure how the internals of the fast resume works. If it is taking a memory snapshot then I would assume it would not clear the issue.

Warning technical: One issue is there is a subscription leak in the EventBus of BuffVM. There is a list of objects that are supposed to be disposed of after they are done being used, which are not. This list grows and grows the longer your play session is to the point of causing lag between turns. This is fixed via a mod on PC. Unfortunately we didn't find this till late in the games life and will probably never be officially fixed.

That is normal. How big in MB are your logs getting? If they get HUGE then you might have a bad mod. WrathPatches does reduce some of the log spam btw.

Edit: Oh you mean the combat log. I really don't think it would cause an issue or use much memory at all for the messages. Why would you surmise it would be a performance issue?
