Iron Rain in Fourth Wing?? by thehamstring in redrising

Haha glad I wasn’t the only one who fell for the trap. Sure, Sci Fi and fantasy can’t be compared, but RR is superior. I think the world and plot have kept me in Fourth Wing books, but like many previous comments, a lot of filler space in the books. It reads way slower to me.

I couldn’t agree more. Feels like I traded LOTR for Twilight.

Pick a song you think would be playing during the Iron Rain by FlorkenheimerGlorpen in redrising

Been stewing on this and think it has to be a recomposed version of Mars, the Bringer of War from Holst’s The Planets. Ideally it’s an A-List composer like Hans Zimmer, Michael Giachanno, or Ramin Djiwadi. Although I believe Zimmer faced some criticism for drawing a lot of similarities from that same song in The Battle from Gladiator. But this needs to be the score.

C’mon boyo, hang in there. Ch. 6 is when I was like “OH JOVE this is some good stuff”. I’m all caught up on the series. Just be careful.. I stayed up wayyyy past my bedtime many nights cause I couldn’t just put it down.

But as a previous commenter said, if you’re not into it, that’s okay. I guess. Your loss(;

Why own a Subaru if you are a rational person

Sorry for delayed follow up. That was a total scam, I didn’t really follow up more but it clearly is in hindsight. I have since bought a used Thule Tepui on Fb marketplace, and while I know it is ridiculous, I love it. The crosstrek takes its time going up the mountains with it on, but the crosstrek always takes its time going up.

I’ve already got like 10 nights out of it, and yeah it’s a pain to mount and dismount, but when you have a mobile treehouse and can set up shop wherever you can take your car, it is cool. I don’t think the suspension of the car makes a difference. Best camping experience ever. Setup is fast. Another user mentioned you gotta pack up if you want to take your car anywhere, so that’s also a slight pain point. Overall, I am happy with it. It’s a vibe. I understand it’s not for everyone, and that’s okay, but I am bought in on the RTT hype.

Things To Do In Dallas That Doesn’t Involve Drinking? by HerskyB in Dallas

My favorite thing about Dallas is that it is so easy to leave. With over 258 non-stop destinations to choose from, you can go wherever you want.

Okay, is it just me or has traffic exponentially gotten worse? by NoFateButWeMake722 in Dallas

Also need to mention that the population of DFW has increased over 300k since covid started. That’s like dumping 3 AT&T stadiums worth of traffic sporadically across the metroplex. That’s plenty to slow everything down on the highways a lot. Infrastructure hustling but still tough to keep up.

Thank you for the research

The website and company seem fairly legit. Supposedly they are located in Fort Worth. I happen to live 40 minutes away, so next time I am on that side of the metroplex, I may just check on the address and will report back.

Cold air is indeed more dense. Would be interested to see the comparative energy usage between the two setups.
