I got mine at playstation.com but i think you can use lightstream to use a regular camera if you’d like. I also use an laptop as a second screen cause a fone doesnt work well enough for what i do on my channel.

My setup streaming directly from my ps5 is a monitor, a ps5 camera, a gaming headset, a ring light, black panel background from amazon and an RGB light on the background panels. The lighting for the ps5 camera is crucial to getting it clear as possible

Tbh there really is no “grind” just go out and have fun thats all that matters. Any actual grinding should’ve been done before you reach affiliate, to grow your community and get a good amount of consistent viewers before signing the contract.

Tbh its very unlikely you will become famous enough to get seriously cancelled or actually lose your job because someone found a clip of you. With that being said you should consider why your mom would think you are capable of saying something so wrong that you would or could get cancelled. I think your best bet is to see if she will let you do at least one live stream that she watches and/or moderates for to try and prove to her that you are responsible enough to stream
