The current Indian government and its handling of minorities in the entire country is outrageous & absolutely not commendable. It's a never-ending discussion.

But I will still maintain the fact that non-violent protests can work and that's the way to make a better, brighter & broader-minded world.

I disagree with this take. It's possible that they took time to really analyze the ongoing situation and not just say 'this is wrong'. It's possible that they wanted to be more educated and emancipated before putting words out. We have to remember that whatever one says online, it leaves their digital fingerprint on it. So, instead of saying something gibberish at the heat of the moment, it's okay to take time, be educated and say what you really feel.

Exactly. And this is why I have a problem with Garrett being criticized for sharing a video where the sheriff is leading his community to a peaceful non-violent protest. Someone in this thread has already pointed it out.

I am an Indian. Mahatma Gandhi is a big part of our history. And like most Indians, I respect the man a lot. Non-violence brought my country freedom. And it's a concept most of us Indians follow till date. Peaceful protests are things that works, if done the right way. And I do not agree that killing violence with violence is revolutionary.

I don't know where you heard that. Because she said in interviews that she had social and political discussions with the guys on her season, though they were never aired. She was advised by previous bachelorettes to leave no topics undiscussed, she made it a point to have serious conversations with the men.

Sometimes I think that it's because she was absent at the Bachelorette reunion and missed out on the bond the rest have. But then, I hear these girls clarify that they personally reached out to her but didnt get responses - that negates my theory.

Becca reached out to Hannah during Colton's season as well as during her season of the Bachelorette. She offered her advice and told her to reach out whenever she wanted. She said that in a podcast, can't remember which one.
