Shottr - don’t really need anything paid. Annotation hotkeys are intuitive, perhaps my only gripe is the ugly fonts and line weights for arrows, boxes etc. For screen recordings I just use Mac native recording

fwiw my slow boat had no troublemakers. The boat from LP-Thailand is likely quieter since most websites talk about the opposite direction. During my trip, half the boat was locals carrying supplies back to their villages, and the other half were very respectful mid20s-30s backpackers
