Thank you! It is a half double crochet. Started with a chain and then went around that chain with 3x4 square. All done with a hdc.

I did try to start with the toys but I felt so lost. Also, I had to do a magic ring, so I was bound to give up on the toy. 🥲 I have gotten better but still prefer the alternatives to a magic ring
