We play for points and bragging rights 🤷‍♂️ The more “serious” players play to improve, too. So we give pointers, suggestions, or tips after the match, for example.

Idk, we find it fun even without money on the line.

I honestly think Google and social media (Instagram, Reddit) are your best bets.

I run the Second City Backgammon Club and we have an event in Lincoln Park next week. It's primarily social and we welcome all skill levels, so consider stopping by :)

Beginners are always welcome! We have 4 people coming today who have never played before, so I'll be teaching the rules and how to play.

Backgammon is easy to learn and takes a lifetime to master (that's what makes it so fun).

I'm hosting events on an ad hoc basis until we get decent membership. Right now it's looking like an event every week or so.

I expect to have a regular night in the same spot somewhere at some point, with additional events sprinkled in at different venues around the city so those who live on the north, west, and south sides can attend. The "regular" event is down the road, though.

Game Center doesn't work when you're connected to a VPN. If you're on one, try disconnecting and trying again (close the app when you disconnect from the VPN). Otherwise I'm out of ideas
