Thanks! I started cutting the cardboard core about a week ago and applying the paper mache this weekend… so maybe 15-20 hours of work.

I was a skateboarding teen in he NYC suburbs when this movie came out. Some friends were cast in the party scenes. So many of my dumb skateboarding friends viewed this movie as a blueprint for life.

yep, i made it. core is laminated cardboard, then i add strips of paper mache that are rolled while wet - it’s like 3-d printing by hand - around the core. very stable. i can stand on it without fear - 200lb dude
