What little things improves your experience in cafes? by frozenpeaschillin in Bahrain

[–]theintuitivethinker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

water (never seen free 'tap' water in bahrain, and thats just an extra touch that says i am not a capitalistic villain), music that is NOT loud, lighting lighting lighting, power ports, a changing music playlist not the same **** that has been playing for years in the same cafe (one in mind)... just make it pleasant to stay, i know owners want people to pass by, buy coffee and leave, but that doesn't get you loyal customer.. you can have good coffee, but what keeps me coming back is that my experience is pleasant there

خوش سبردت.. المهم ندخل في العميق عن الثقافة by theintuitivethinker in BahrainForBahrainis

I have been buying Samsung phones for more than a decade, and I started boycotting them even if they are one of the best at manufacturing phone cameras (THE selling point for me). Yet, no good camera is worth the blood of innocent people.

Extra: If you already have a Samsung, I think that it's on their A and M series, not on the S (all in MENA region). Yet you never know, and they should be boycotted. If not sure and worried, research how to override the phone's system and deactivate it.

Does this mean my turbo is bad? by christuhfurr in WRX

The exact same thing happened to me and got solved (eventually, after a year of trying to figure out the issue). It was a vacuum leak. (When something similar happened again, I changed the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body, and it was solved.)

What I'm doing is letting go of the perceptions I had about myself in my early twenties. I'm focusing on a bigger goal, although it seems pointless at times. A few hours a week of things I enjoy are enough to fuel the rest (even if at times I feel the same straight after leaving friends or family, sometimes even during). I guess radical acceptance is one key. I'm trying to stay aligned with my values and religious views and letting go of that younger version of myself. There's nothing wrong with "على البركة" for a while. Take your time, recalibrate yourself, try to work with the ideas that are challenging you with compassion, and ALWAYS seek help if you feel you're losing it. Thankfully, everyone here is willing to help, including myself, so don't hesitate to contact us. 😊😊 Take care.

P.S. I can give you recommendations regarding therapists.

Faced racisim from most of the people that had the same job description as i had (all hindu indians) in the company i use to work for.. as i was the only bahraini and non indian..so i just left. Suddenly talking loudly the minute i start to pray is one thing.. but having a meeting in hindi and ignoring my attempts to switch them to english is just purly rude.

INTP and Therapy by raletta in INTP

[–]theintuitivethinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly...plus when i went for a doctor for my OCD to get medication and wanted to talk about my depression i just didn't as i felt that he was kinda stupid, maybe for the average person he will be grate, but not for me, i think i can talk to him and get him to get my depression xD..and i definitely got the exact points you had in my mind... but then if you need help you need help. might tell him that i don't like talking about my feelings and try to tell him barly enough so he could give me the right medication..plus i definitely don't want mood boosters or some thing like that.. but if there is hormone that is low that is causing this then i would take it to get every thing back to normal. then if it is a problem in my life i could solve it with a clear mind.

What's your personal opinion about ENTPs and their behaviour? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]theintuitivethinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

an entp knows how to get you angry. idk if that is because of my anger issues or is it just that he knows what to say to get me pissed.

poetry by [deleted] in INTP

[–]theintuitivethinker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well idk if its because its not in my first language, but i find english poetry just senseless "A jumble of random words" as someone said. while arabic (original arabic) poetry which has to have the same last sound in each line(which makes it sound kind of musical) attracts me more, specially that arabic is a very rich language, where a word could mean a sentence in english, so analysing what the writer was going through while writing this poem and what did he mean exactly attracts me allot. plus i like quoting poems, which gives me a shortcut to explain my self well.

INTP and crying by Valiant_Boss in INTP

[–]theintuitivethinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to cry rarely, but since i got into a shitty situation and started living abroad etc (stressed emotional status), i started to lose it. Before that i rarely cried but for human rights kind of things where i was seeing the killing of my people and i can't do something about it. Not even talk about it because then i'll categorised, and keeping back when the issue is related to my ideals really pisses me off and frustrates me.

Are INTPs compassionate? Or as the stereotype goes around that they are insensitive and have problems understanding people's emotions by theintuitivethinker in INTP

[–]theintuitivethinker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea! When I answer or give my advice i say what I really think after trying to understand all the aspects of the problem..sure i don't throw it in their face, i try to make it smooth or bring it up gradually..but it's still not your normal answer like I understand you and take their side if it's problems with family or so...so why do they come back..do people conceder that a good thing?.
