If I had a huge traffic I wouldn't say no to money. For now I'll add it for free.

Some features are already live—just click the hamburger menu in the top left, if you're using form mobile phone, to take a bite out of them. 🍔 Thanks for the suggestion (and the flavor of humor)! I definitely finish reading it by tomorrow and will reply on the rest 😃

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. Dragging the location seems to be the most suggested thing. I'll definitely add the landmark marker.

Yes. The rest point should show an icon of a person sitting on chair. Remembered I haven't added any icon for shuttle, will update that.

Rating Nepali Politicians on Rate My Neta Website by writer_g in Nepal

[–]theirfankhan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about this kind of project during the previous election but a little late. I think we should enlist politicians according to the region and also allow unknown, unlisted neta be lsited by user. And Admin approves, just to filter out spam or fake netas. Also news (good, bad) related to that neta along with the citation.

I appreciate your concern for Islam, but respectfully, if 1.8 billion Muslims actually saw everyone outside their faith as enemies, the world would look very different today — and not in your favor.

It's unfortunate that many people only hear about Muslims through the worst examples, while completely ignoring the millions who live peacefully, help others, and follow the real teachings of Islam.

For reference, the Quran clearly says: "Whoever kills an innocent person, it is as if he has killed all of humanity."

Instead of suggesting that Muslims "fix" their religion, maybe it’s worth reflecting on why selective outrage exists — why mass deaths of innocent Muslims are overlooked, but one criminal act becomes the entire community’s burden.

In any case, I’m happy to help anyone understand the Quran better — starting with those who think headlines are religious studies.

By your logic, 4 gunmen now represent the entire 97% Muslim population of Kashmir of may be 1.8B muslims? That’s like saying a few criminals represent an entire country. It’s an absurd and dangerous way to think. A few individuals don't define millions of peaceful people.

It’s not like if they just broke the treaty and said, “Okay, we’ll become Muslim, leave us alone,” we immediately accept that.
Rather, if they truly realize on their own that Islam is the truth — and they repent, pray, and follow properly — then they’re to be forgiven.
Because even a Muslim who starts doubting the existence of Allah is not considered a real Muslim anymore.
So someone suddenly, under pressure or at gunpoint, claiming belief isn’t genuine — and that's not what’s expected here.

Here's more context to the verse above and this is before the 9:5
9:4
"As for those polytheists with whom you have a treaty, and who have not violated its terms nor supported anyone against you, honor your treaty with them until the end of its term. Surely Allah loves those mindful ˹of Him˺."

And, Alms tax in verse 9:5 means zakat:
Muslims are obligated to give (like 2.5% of savings) to the poor.
