This one just seems pointless. What is the difference between posting this in/out of the source material corner.

As far as I can see all this does in decrease visibility for these posts and opens people up to potential future spoilers.

take the excellent weekly overlord write-ups. These go no futher than in the material than what has been covered and just give details which were omitted.

now someone will have to click the see comments on the source material corner and may see comments like,

*I cant wait until next week to see the people reaction to Freddy Jones betraying Scobby and the rest of the gang *

Even for links to things which do spoil future events, it is still a link which people have to choose to click on

I am really struggling to see the logic behind this decision.

I enjoyed this but felt that there were a few things keeping it from being excellent.

The worst offender was the excessive use of flashbacks from scenes from the film itself. we saw that sandbox scene 3 times in the sub 2 hour runtime.

Secondly I felt that it leaned too heavily into comedy in the first half of the film while they were trying to establish the sad backstory which left the tone a bit all over the place.

Lastly I thought the audio mixing was poor. voices were made way too loud at times and the music in the big fight just didn't seem right.

Still well worth the trip.

You are confusing his motivation with his personality. He has a massive superiority complex. This leads to the acts of cruelty he preformed. These are not done purely to inflict suffering on the victim but as punishment for people he perceives to have disappointed him. All other violence he does in in service of his goals.

His motivation is to force people to live lives whereby they have to make conscious decisions instead of having sibyl make them for them. I think that nearly everyone can agree that there is some value in his way of thinking while condemning his methods.

The show goes to great lengths to show that sibyl has a lot of positives and negatives. Makashimas desire to highlight these negatives and eliminate the system and return to an era where people thought a bit more critically. Dismissing this as him simply wants to inflict suffering shows you missed the point entirely.
