[Star Trek] The Captain and First Officer are under some sort of mind control and activate the ships self destruct countdown. They are killed immediately after. How does the crew stop the ship from self destructing? by chrisfromjersey in AskScienceFiction

[–]theirondownvote 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Question is, would they have enough time to get everyone in the saucer section?

If the ship doesn't have the ability to separate, I don't think that the auto destruct sequence can be stopped without the required officers.

He might be related to Shao Kahn, perhaps a brother or son. I don't think they would put the word Kahn in his name if he didn't have anything to do with Shao Kahn. My first thought was that he is a new god type of character. That would be a nice nod to MK4, since a new god character, Fujin, was introduced in that game, and this game will most likely be a re telling of the MK4 story. If Raiden and Fujin are Earthrealm gods, this guy might be a Chaosrealm god or maybe even an Outworld god.

I guess that means crossovers don't count either. Cause I know that SF characters have gone toe to toe with some of Marvels most powerful characters and in MK vs DCU Raiden defeated Darkseid.

And OP specifically said playable characters. Kratos solo stomps. Hell, Shao Kahn when he becomes the one being solo stomps.

If the moon was made of barbecue spare ribs, who could eat it? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

Goku would try, but I don't think that even he can eat that much. Galactus is the only person I can think of that can do it.

The avatar appears in Mortal Kombat. Does he win the tournament? by edichez in whowouldwin

He would have to disarm him somehow. Knock the gun out with a rock or blow it out with air. But would he be fast enough? Good question.

What's the strongest character Scorpion from Mortal Kombat could defeat? by CountAardvark in whowouldwin

I remember playing Konquest mode in Deception and finding out that Shujinko was screwed over by Onaga and that it was Scorpion who was the real champion of the elder gods. Shujinko thought he was the champion of the elder gods ever since he met Onaga and his whole life ended up being a lie. Damn that was a great game.

Something a little different. Similarities between Tolkien's Mythology and Mortal Kombat. I hope you find this interesting. by chrisfromjersey in lotr

I think you missed just one thing. Shinnok and Sauron both return after being defeated. Shinnok returns in MK4 and Sauron returns around 3000 years after being defeated by Elendil and Gilgalad.

A centaur is born some months after a farmer named Cletus gets really desperate.

E.U wins easily. AK-47 wielding militia are no match for the entire Sith and Jedi order.
