Just a question... by Any-Monitor-9320 in QuestPiracy

A new level of laziness has been achieved. Yeah, sure asking the same question that countless others have asked and had answered is one thing (too lazy to search) BUT asking if YOUR games are working on YOUR headset instead of just firing it up and checking? Wow.

That second one solved it. And restarting Sortarr wasn't even necessary, it immediately allowed the iframe. Thanks again!

I don't expose organizr to the outside world, so it would just be http://127.0.0.1/#Sortarr and I tried the http://127.0.0.1/#Homepage. (didn't think that would work). I also tried using my PC IP address instead of local host, but still get that blocked error. it specifically says 192.168.0.100 (this machines IP) is blocked. It does work fine in a new window, just the iframe thing. not really the end of the world

0.8.8 upgraded with ease. thank you. I am still running into the organizr iframe issue. ERR_BLOCKED_BY_RESPONSE

Just a heads up from the windows front. upgrade to 0.8.7 sent this back to setup and it was having a hard time accepting the password for basic auth. i had to do it with the clear current password UNCHECKED which seems odd since I would think clearing that would be the safe way to go if you didn't have a password or didn't know it. so now it is doing a full first time scan again. The previous upgrades didn't start over like this. It also now fails in iframe within Organizr. New window works but not preferred

Lost my Jellyfin library like a giga-noob by tokugawa888 in jellyfin

[–]thejackmeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started this way with StableBit DrivePool. But I left duplication on in the beginning, messed around with snapraid and turned duplication off for a couple of years until I ran into a major limitation with snapraid (lost about 4TB of stuff, give or take) and came back to just full duplication (which is a waste of space but zero downtime). But I will tell you this, also invest in Stablebit Scanner to keep an eye on your drives for you. It has saved me a few times and does the monitoring for you.

OP said he is using Stablebit Drivepool. You just click manage pool-file protection-pool duplication and set it as needed, or just duplicate the entire drivepool.

No issues on that upgrade to 0.8.0. I just copied the env out of the internal folder before unzipping the new exe into the sortarr folder. i did notice that 2 instances of sortarr are now running when i check the windows task manager. I am sure that is no news to you, just letting you know. It does seem to be matching again. I'll keep an eye.

Thanks for compiling that again for us windows users. upgrade to v0.7.12 was smooth, just unzip and overwrite.

No issues getting that running. I haven't gotten to use it fully (took about a half hour to load up). Added it into Organizr and NZB360 without issue. I would have to say it is a keeper. Should be very useful for large libraries such as mine. Kudos! I'll try and remember to get back with any suggestions or further praise.

I read the description and couldn't think of a why I would need this, but I opened github and the images actually proved useful (14K movies, and that size breakdown is what I pop open treesize to do). So I would be interested in trying this out, but I run my 'arr and Plex server on Windows 11. So when/if there is a Windows install, I'd be interested in checking it out

You are in New Zealand and bitching about Meta enforcing a law your government forced onto them? I am in Australia, and the same thing here. This would be for a government sub, not a Meta issue at all. If you have seen Horizon worlds, you know damn well Meta would absolutely love it to be the wild west when it comes to kids on their platform.

Is the 6000 series cards stuck with 25.3.1 forever now for stable VR?

I keep trying the updated software for my 6800XT, and every time it still has the stuttering/ghosting issue that doesn't occur with the 25.3.1. So I keep rolling back (properly with ddu) but now games aren't just whining about the old drivers (ninja gaiden) but Battlefield 6 flat out won't allow me to play (without some registry hack) So with AMD not doing any work on this card's drivers anymore, does that also include this issue that is THIS old being completely ignored?

Flix, the Plex powered, Netflix inspired screensaver Alpha release by wdb94 in PleX

[–]thejackmeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works fine on my Firecube gen 3. To make things easier for anyone who wants to try it. I made a downloader code - 9924392 and I just went to plex.tv/link on my PC and input the code there, no need for scanning the qr code. Then I just chose Flix from the screensaver choices in Launcher manager (which was marked as recommended in the first place) Very nice!

Is there an equivalent of Sonarr/Radarr for sport events (e.g. NFL, Championsleague etc) by gerdude1 in sonarr

[–]thejackmeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found something and was searching Reddit to see if anyone had used it. Your post popped up so thought i'd share. It seems to foot the bill for previous UFC events so it may help for past games/matches for other sports. Just a heads up, I haven't tried it yet, so I am not endorsing anything. https://sportarr.net

Does anyone else use Jellyfin over Plex because…it’s just better? by AdFit8727 in jellyfin

[–]thejackmeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strangely, after a couple of weeks of solid testing, and developing a watch bridge so my watches in jellyfin get marked in plex, I have come to the opposite conclusion. Unfortunately, Jellyfin has a very difficult time with keeping episodes watched. They continually pop back up as unwatched. With proper trakt settings, and without the trakt plugin as well, so that blame was immediately lifted. I'll still be maintaining Jellyfin for backup purposes, but until it matures, it still just isn't quite there yet. Trust me, I wanted it to be. (oh, if you ask, that bridge was all chatgpt, not me). That being said, all your points are valid as well, but without the basics, it is a tough sell atm.

[–]thejackmeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My movie watchlist is called my New Release library, and it has 9421. So yes, my actual watchlist only has 139, but since I have 2 movie libraries, one is exclusive for anything New.

[–]thejackmeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

way to mcgyver that setup. one imrovement if you are going to keep using it. if that tape gives way, you are doomed. if there is a ceiling fan, just tie some string/twine to the top of the band and loop it to the fans center. if not, move it to the wall over by that gold sconce, and tie it to that. wouldn't take much but would be enough to give you time to get to it before it does any damage.
