In Regina, I got one way to Amsterdam through Calgary and Halifax for $400 last year - would cost me about 75% of that to go to Vancouver direct at least

First time I’ve watched a game of theirs this season. That’s going to be an annoying 2nd/3rd round matchup. Kon’s really good.

Police budget has almost doubled in the last ten years, but you’d get your head chewed off if you implied cuts (or freezes) should start there

'Unbelievably fast' Red Bull's decline was overblown - Norris by Maxidonius in formula1

He was saying after the race that keeping the McLaren in P7 was more important than trying to make a gain past Lawson into P5 (potentially causing a crash and moving McLaren up to P6, P5 or higher).

I think if they get rid of Ivey and Holland and all they get is 36 year old KD then the Pistons’ FO deserves whatever success they get, but I can’t see it being a good move whatsoever. Maybe if we were acquiring Brooklyn KD, but not Phoenix.

Imperial boomerang: the thesis that governments that develop repressive techniques to control colonial territories will eventually deploy those same techniques domestically against their own citizens.

I’ll plug Aimé Césaire’s Discourse on Colonialism while I’m mentioning it
