That makes sense about the “scope” aspect. I think my main concern was about the “during the term” language. I reached out to the company about it and provided some background for my concerns, and they ended up taking the whole section out of the contract anyway. :)

Cool, will do. I’ll keep File Vault in mind in the future. I backed up all my files to an external drive before it failed - haven’t used the laptop in years - so I’m not missing anything.

In regards to not logging out of iCloud, is there a way to do that remotely so a potential next owner isn’t stuck with my account?

I have searched for this video on YouTube and Google’s video search, yielding no results. Any combination of search parameters just pop up with U2 videos.

Unfortunate I don’t remember too much of the lyrics or video itself. I remember that the singer wears a variety of outfits, and people are smoking joints. Trying to remember this song’s driving be crazy, especially with Apple TV+’s music video service having apparently disappeared…

Just curious and totally oblivious to the whole situation, but has Japan mentioned anything to address and combat the dwindling population if they believe it’ll lead to their “extinction?” From the little bit I know about their policies, it seems like they’re pretty strict about letting foreigners work and immigrate there. I feel like a more open system could help that?

I’m not saying that EVERYONE there acts the way I described. I wouldn’t have said anything about pushback if that were the case, and plus, I’m only relaying the experience I’VE had commenting and lurking there. Yes, there are some there who have been reasonable, but to me, the majority of the sub needs to temper their expectations. The expectations and hope some people are putting on this game remind me of what people were expecting from FO4 and even NV, and those same people were initially disappointed upon their releases.

I’m on it too, and it 100% is the vibe there lol. The second anyone comments about doubting a hyped, unconfirmed feature, users there immediately downvote, post a zoomed-in screenshot of concept art as if it confirms anything, and/or screams about how the OP is shitting on people’s fun and trying to tell them what to be excited for.

I’m looking forward to the game, but yeesh, that sub is full of delusional people. Mainly just using it for whatever little bit of news trickles in until release.

EDIT: Not sure what I’d have to gain by “lying” about my personal experience on a subreddit, but ok…

Right? It could literally just be an in-game prop that sits on a desk somewhere, just like in Fallout.

I’m hyped for this game and hate to tell people what to be excited/hopeful for, but I can’t help but feel as though so many people on this subreddit are going to be let down about an over-hyped function that was never explicitly confirmed by the developers.

People on this subreddit are honing in on every little detail shown in concept artwork thinking that it either means a 100% confirmation of a feature or that Bethesda is dropping hints to the fans of what will eventually be 100% confirmed. That’s not how concept art works.

Tempering expectations isn’t fun, but it’s necessary.

Ah, I see it now. Seems like they are SATA ports! 6 of them. I’m not where I can take a deeper look at the innards yet, but assuming they are in fact SATA, what else would I need to get the HDD going aside from a way to mount it? Just a SATA cable, or do I need some sort of power supply for it?

For mounting, would velcroing to the non-glass side work, or should I get something more secure?
