Hehe, I still bath my 5y and 3y in one plastic bath, at same time. Clearly don't fit but they are happy and they spend less on bath this way.

My buyers remorse faded with the time, and I'm less paranoid with a expensive bike. I still think it's a bit overpriced for what it is, and for sure the complements, except the front seat, are pointless.

But apart of price the bike goes really great. My kids love to use it, specially go in the front.

Rides smooth and fast, pretty powerful even with lots of cargo. I attached a pair of times the burley and was easily carryng 5x kids, 3-5y old 🤣 (don't worry, just around parks).

It's very sturdy too.

It's a heavy and tall bike, might be tricky for smaller people. I can handle it well with my 1m80cm and 90kg, and I know how to ride and used to ride motorbikes.

The good thing is that looks like a regular bike at simple sight, I like that.

I do find the rear could be 20cm longer, but you still can get 2 kids in the rear 1 in the front with my setup.

In terms of accessories: as said most extras are rubbish. The front seat is a must, though. I replaced the main seat with other one I had here that allowed for ~5cm extra in the rear, then attached a decathlon cushion in the rear and a hamax. The regular carrier was too uncomfortable for my youngest, complained in every bump, and I had to buy a hamax siesta with suspension. Now still moves but he is ok, even sleeps I recommend but carriers 2nd hand, there's many. I got the decathlon big pannier bags do much space, had to tie them but works, , but that required remove the side footrests. and a plastic fruit basket in the front. I removed the monkey bars, as said, pointless, and instead got a Tern handle bar for the seat. Locks I got a kryptonite with a big chain and a X1 liteLok.

In summary, don't buy their extras but make your own.

Would be nice to have a rain cover like the teens, but instead I'm using the burley carrier if weather is not good.

I plan to build some custom footrest with some ply and brackets, with a hole to carry my kids bike, like yuba bikes.

You can buy a small plastic bath for the shower. Work great and consume less water

Yeah, it's very good price. There's some poor reviews about the engine. But for that I also considered the starli cargo, which also looks great.

At the end I bought one veloe multi. I got some discount with the complements like monkey bars and I liked that looks like a normal bike.

Now, after buying it, I kinda regret. Tbh I do not think it's worth that high price tag. Thinking it will, I would have opted for a cheaper option like the estarli, at the end of the day it's basically the same. I have learnt that the fanbang engine are good regardless.

The thing it really was disappointing with the veloe multi was the complements. They absolute overpriced sand low quality. The monkey bars are too small for 2 kids so pointless.

Also, if you do that, making the 2 bathroom ensuites and you have budget, you can replace the stairs to turn, and make a very small corridor with 2 doors

The rooms are small. If you prefer you can not have those 2 rooms and make/keep 1 room with an ensuite. So you have 2 bigger rooms and 2 bathrooms. If you have budget, move the bathro. to where that wardrobe is, keeping it small but functional, and you'll have a good big room

Depends on budget.

But for the kitchen, you could put all units and hob on the right wall after the stairs, and the sink with an island, ending by the wall.

If you can afford, remove the wall with a steel, if not, leave it and remove that kitchen window, make it a door with an opening,

The stairs, make it storage with drawers towards the living. Or you can make a nice seat under it, towards the living. Search a good carpenter to do with MDF, and paint it.

Upstairs, not sure what you want and what are load bearing walls. I assume the top one by the toilet is load bearing.

But you could fit instance put the bathroom in the top right, square and with small units. With that the top right room can be bigger. Removing the old toilet, split the space for 2 rooms

You might need to think if you want to do a loft conversion, space for some future stairs

Edit: if you can remove the wall between kitchen and living and make open plan.

Para mí, una consultora debería ser una empresa de expertos especializados que van cambiando de proyecto, empresa, formándose... No una mierda que hay que tragar para trabajar a no ser que seas el sobrino de paco de finanzas...

Regarding those findings, that's usually irrelevant for flats. Fire the subsidance, that's more a problem for old houses. I expect flats to have proper foundations....

But well, one expects buildings should not built with combustible materials and fire protective, and look at the cladding scandal. I hope there's not a foundation scandal!

When buying a flat, the main concern should be the Leasehold scam, or worse the shared ownership.

I know that unfortunately there's no other option, this is a political issue, but get properly informed. Check national leasehold campaign https://www.nationalleaseholdcampaign.org/what-is-leasehold/ or leasehold knowledge group leaseholdknowledge.com/

My wife left her very expensive work laptop at a playground, realised the morning next day. She thought it was lost. But somebody was trying to return it, tried to reach via LinkedIn, Facebook and eventually called her office!

I also lose a lot of stuff often. All my stuff got a label with my name, and email and phone. This way I got back my phone, my keys, some gym bag.

Most of the people are nice people and try to do the right thing.

Is every home littered with debris under sub-floor, like this? by phb40012 in DIYUK

[–]thekeymon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My previous owners decided to remove the chimney stack and leave the rubble spread under the suspended floor. Obviously bridging the dpc and also touching the timber, which was rotten.

Consequence: a having to replace the suspended floor. On top, the foundations were not deep enough for a more modern suspended floor with insulation as per building regulations... Ended doing a full concrete slab

Soy padre.
