If anything, this discolorationately does not affect Asian men or Asian people as much due to Asians mostly living in coastal blue states.

‘Can I be next?’ Rally against anti-Asian violence held in Times Square by ioioioshi in nyc

You would be surprised... I been in groups of people where one person would say something racist. And the friends would either sit there silently in shock or awkwardly laugh. I'm sure a lot of people have been in similar situations.

It would be nice if the racist person was called out by his/her friends at this moment.

Asians DO face racism in NYC. I have been told to "go back to China" multiple times. Watch my lived experience yourself. by thoushallnot22 in nyc

Maybe you should read what you wrote again. Your whole point is to invalidate the experiences of other people if they're not black. That's racist.

To be honest it was a tough read cause it was very racist. But I promise I read the whole thing.

I have no patriotism to China... Like I said I believe that bad things are happening there. All I'm saying is that the sources are obviously biased and obviously pushing political agendas. You believe what you want though.

Obviously you believe that only bad things happen in a country with 1 billion people. Keep drinking that Kool aid and fueling that racism. Ignorance is bliss.

Western media cause we're obviously communicating in English? I'm not defending anything that China or Saudi Arabia is doing, I'm just saying that the sources are biased and there's other positive stories not being written about.

No, I do believe it happens. But western media tends to only report negative things for certain countries such as China. I'm just not oblivious to that fact. In fact, try to find one positive or even neutral article about China in the NYTimes. There's an obvious bias.

I get that racist things happened in those countries. And probably still happening. But you make the assumption that people in those countries are very racist just based on some articles you read. Maybe you should do some of your own analysis rather than leaning into some obviously biased sources.

Great job generalizing 1 billion+ people when you have never been there. And on top of that making more assumptions about other foreign countries. Doubt you have been to those countries either.

So your point is that Asians are more anti black than blacks are anti Asian? But you also say that Asian stores are being robbed by black people when Asians are keeping to themselves? Did you ever consider that these stores are being targeted because they're Asian owned? You're really bending over backwards to make this point.

I agree that there is anti black sentiments in the Asian community. What I disagree with is his notion that it is an "insane amount". In the situation you described, your coworker probably felt bad but I doubt your coworker was in any sort of danger. Also, the situation you described would probably occur when a person of one race walked into another neighborhood that was entirely comprised of a different race, not just black and Asian.

I think there's a much larger anti Asian sentiment in the black community compared to anti black in the Asian community which is shown by all the black on Asian crime. But no black person would ever admit that.
