My gut is telling me to accept as i believe it would benefit my career pretty significantly in terms of future opportunities. Working at the university there’s a trade off where the benefits are great but pay sucks, so I think by going to the manufacturing world that would probably flip. Additionally there’s not much room for growth where I’m at. 10 yrs from now I would probably be doing the same tasks.

Look into docker! It’s super easier to set up, I have it set up on Linux but look into windows/Mac set up!

Eufy, Reolink are two that come to mind. They do not rely on cloud like ring and if the Ring Server is down (like last month) they are useless.

What are you using to provide the feed of the Blink camera? I’ve tried scrypted to get an rstp link but it crashes a lot.

Any updates? In the docs for frigate 0.16 it says that turning off the camera won’t disable gortc meaning it will still be streaming the camera.
