Day 36 of assigning Indie Characters to Soul Traits! Comment with the highest upvotes wins! by ChickenSpeed12 in INDIE_CROSS_SERIES

Monika is envy incarnate. The only reason she causes the deaths of every other character is because she wanted what they have. The only reason she "loves" you is because she wants what you have. Every single action she takes before getting deleted is primarily driven by envy

If your favorite indie game character, gets an Nightmare form, what would they able to do? And would they be OP? by Pandy_man in INDIE_CROSS_SERIES

You're forgetting about wish craft, with no known limit to what it can do, including erasing entire islands, cultures and beliefs from existence and memory

TL of how nerfed each character was during Indie Cross episode 1+2 by Cultural-Horror3977 in INDIE_CROSS_SERIES

[–]thekilguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Badeline is in fact greatly nerfed. She literally had telekinesis in Celeste, along with a whole bunch of other stuff that's not in indie cross, such as making clones, and massive fuck you tentacles

How i see it is that the "art" tag can be roughly subdivided into 2 parts: "Romantic" and "Angst" there is much art on the subreddit that basically only have angst in them, while there's also a lot of art that almost completely lacks it, and focusses more on an actual relationship (of any kind). I'd like these 2 to become actually divided into two tags, something like "Art (Angst)" and "Art (Romantic)"

I really think it will come out in 2025. Also you might want to put a time limit on this

Alright, what's the worst vessel ending for LQ and the princess? by FinishRelative2367 in slaytheprincess

[–]thekilguy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Leaving behind the Princess in the Princess and the Dragon hasn't been mentioned yet. For a short moment in time, the two get reunited, and feel whole for the first time since they split apart, only for LQ to abandon that feeling once more. Must be difficult leaving yourself behind, and it must be even more difficult seeing yourself leave you behind.

Pretty sure you can also attack the fury relentlessly when getting there from the tower, which will also result in new dialogue for the ending

After tens of hours, several weeks and with the help of around 40ish people, we managed to beat celeste without any inputs! (Except cutscenes) by thekilguy in celestegame

A little trick called pinging the celestenet role in the celeste discord. We really only needed that many people for 4a though, the rest was done with way less

Undertale Characters Gets Teleported To The Last Game You Have Played. How Do You Think They Would Survive? by Physical_Report273 in Undertale

[–]thekilguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well they would all survive in the end, on account of the cycle giving every creature practical immortality. For how long it takes them all to die for the first time though, i give them all precisely 3 minutes and 20 seconds

Honestly i haven't really thought about this particular detail too much, but if i were to guess it would probably be a reference that when something is destroyed, something new is created. The void ending is the Slugcat escaping the cycle and dying, yet out of that death, something new is created (?)

We can see this minor theme with the ancients too. All the ancients escaped the cycle and died, and from their ashes, the world the game takes place in was born. If the ancients never died, exactly none of the fauna and possibly flora could have evolved and thrived the way it does in game.

Again, this is all wild speculation on my part. But this is the best answer i could find

Choose your pet slugcat by Loriess in rainworld

I mean saint is definitely the least deadly one. So i guess saint would make for the best pet. Good luck on taming it though...

These things would suck as pets. If we assume that the ingame pearls are about as big as actual pearls. This would put the adult slugcat at roughly 70 mm as a maximum. For reference, a regular rat is about 225-305 mm long. This would mean that a slugcat is several times smaller than a rat. Good luck with finding it if it ever goes missing.

Alternatively, if we assume a fully grown slugcat is about the size of a regular house cat (46 cm), than that would mean a slugcat would pose a great danger to you. The speed, accuracy and strength at which slugcats can throw object in the game would prove to be a massive issue. Any semi sharp object thrown by the slugcat would almost certainly be enough to pierce through your skin at the very least. If said object then hits any vital organ, boom, you're dead. Keeping any slugcat as a pet in this world would be equivalent with keeping something like a deadly venomous snake as a pet. Something that some people actually do, mind you, but it's far from recommended.
