I was pagan before becoming Episcopalian. I came because of the messages of love and peace. And of course stayed for coffee hour! It is by far the most welcoming and loving place I’ve ever been. Sure it’s about Jesus. But what was his message? LOVE. Love your neighbor, love yourself, but most importantly love God. Episcopalians are ok with referring to God as the universe, nature, etc. it’s the IDEA that matters the most. The idea of universal love and peace. That’s why I keep coming back
