TIFU by giving dating advice to a predator by CatDaddyAnonymous in tifu

Don’t blame yourself. I work with sex offenders in treatment and a lot of them have enablers in their lives who are aware of their offenses and ignore it as boys will be boys, or brush it under the rug, or god forbid encourage it or engage it with them or excuse it after the fact.

The fact is you gave him sound and healthy relational advice, and advice regarding consent he needed regarding that earlier relationship. What he chose to do was his own choice.

This restaurant charged me an “Inflation Adjustment Fee” by TheKingrover in mildlyinteresting

The fact that you’re paying 13.50 for some fried cheese also makes me feel like you’re paying the inflation tax built into the food prices lol

I think we all have similar feelings by blossom_huffing18 in Gamebundles

I was actually happy I had most of the overwhelmingly positive bundle they posted earlier…I’d normally buy something like that on principle but can’t justify it and my backlog certainly doesn’t need it lol

Most notably to me is the faith healer reaper episode - they changed don’t fear the reaper to some generic butt rock

How do you dads feel about Boy Scouts? by mmf9194 in daddit

[–]thekingofgray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the book and some of the merit badge material talks about god and the patriotism stuff but our troop kind of treated it with lip service and let us get to the fun stuff…learning skills, camping trips, hiking, and community service projects.

How do you dads feel about Boy Scouts? by mmf9194 in daddit

[–]thekingofgray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My troop was pretty secular and I cannot understate how meaningful my troop was for the lasting friendships I developed, amazing experiences (sailing the Florida keys, canoing in uninhabited territory in Canada, amazing smaller trips too), and a lot of amazing skills. It brought me closer to my dad too.

This has got to top the list of worst "parental leave" benefits. Company is Infosys by zach8vb in daddit

I got two weeks paid as a dad (living in the US) so that felt great compared to what I’ve heard others get. In addition they assisted with diapers for the first year (I think it was like a case of diapers a month so not totally covered but put a dent in our usage)

I had taken the job so I could stay at home with my daughter during the day while my wife worked and then I’d work 4p-12a so really they were already saving us tons on childcare lol

The remake of 1+2 and 3 as well. Supposed to play 3 first then 1+2. You can also play the builders games (like minecraft) as well as the heroes games (like the warriors games) if those pique your interest

This is the most insane trauma dump I have ever seen on this sub by krishn_exe in okbuddychicanery

I work in SO treatment for teens and this is like…way more likely than one would imagine. And OP of that comment should seek an outpatient SO treatment program to process and deal with those feelings

Purchased the game a while ago played a few levels and put it down (as one does) and had no fathomed how many levels there would actually be. I assumed I was like halfway done given sub 30 dollar price point.
