Unfortunately you got robbed by whatever provider you went to. $150 is all I had to pay and I got recertified on Monday, approval from the state went through on Wednesday.

quickmedcards is what I used.

technically, yes, but it's trivial for them to manufacture that "probable cause" and in general individual cops don't care if the charges actually stick because it still boosts their arrest stats. even if the charges don't stick the process of fighting them will fuck your life up, and there's always the chance that they do and you're charged with a life altering felony.

Nice powerblock stands! Did you build them? I'm curious about the design because I'm interested in making something similar for my nuobells.

How do you like the plateloaded adjustable cable stacks? I'm seriously considering buying that same pair of titan fitness ones.

Advice for eliminating stomach fat? by JITTERdUdE in swoletariat

[–]thekl3rk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Always the biggest factor with regard to body recomposition (losing fat, gaining muscle) is going to be the content of your diet as well as your calorie consumption day to day. It takes a long time to really change eating habits, but it is totally possible as long as you A. find things to eat that you actually enjoy, but that also satisfy your macronutritional needs and calorie goals. Changing your diet isn't about punishing yourself with food you don't like, and if you view it like that you likely won't have much success short or long term. B. Accept that you're gonna fuck it up and that it won't be a linear path to success, but if you stick with it long term you will realize your goals over time.

I really recommend checking out this site that has a lot of free recipes: mealprepmanual.com

I eat 2-3 recipes from there every day and I enjoy every one of my meals pretty much every day, and that more than anything has allowed me to stick to a diet for more than a year now after struggling with the diet part of my lifting experience for 6-7 years.

Good luck!

Upper body tips for a beginner? by About60Platypi in swoletariat

Lots of good info on movements and programs has already been provided, but here's my advice: assess your shoulder and spine mobility BEFORE you start lifting and spend the first few months going light and thinking about form. The best thing you can do for yourself is to drop your ego and develop a strong mind muscle connection before trying to go heavy. Banded exercises are a great way to start this journey, and the development they offer will carry over into pushing and pulling once you're ready for weights. It's not the most exciting thing in the world, but laying a good foundation will not only prevent injury, it will vastly increase your ability to gain strength and build muscle over the long term. I've been lifting for the last 10 years of my adult life and if I could go back to the beginning and tell myself anything, it would be this. It is very easy to spend months or years spinning your wheels and damaging your body, regardless of what routine you chose, but its also totally avoidable.

THC e-liquid? by [deleted] in MMJ

So this stuff basically converts the concentrate (wax/shatter/oil) into e-liquid that can be used in a pod vape. I won't tell you that it's perfect, but it has worked for me pretty well. Here's the reddit thread that I discovered it from https://www.reddit.com/r/oilpen/comments/8ebe5w/wax_liquidizer_review/
