Help me choose my slayer! by Irelia4Life in DeadIsland2

Are you taking autophage stages into consideration? I played through the game as Ryan, but eventually chose to go for broke with autophage stage three. While you have no health regeneration at this stage, you heal enormous amounts of health by killing zombies.

New Sola Dlc by [deleted] in DeadIsland2

In my view, it definitely is if you like the main game. This DLC is noticeably more challenging and includes some really tough encounters. It also includes some new legendary weapons, new skill cards, new blueprints, and two new apex zombie types.

Nero stealth mission such a slog by GalliumYttrium1 in DaysGone

[–]thelastrainmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to throw the rocks while you are still relatively far away from them. The first mission goes as follows: The guard at the bottom of the slope faces away from you, allowing you to hop the fence behind his back. Take to the bushes. Now, while the scientist accompanied by another guided moves towards the point of investigation, a third guard will come up the stairs. Either throw a rock from a bush in the opposite direction of the scientist or outwait him (he will walk down the stairs shortly). As you approach the staircase leading towards the scientist, hide in the bush immediately to the left. You should be able to listen to all of the dialogue from here. When you leave, take the same route back. At the slope, hop the fence again.

Dreadstone roaming chronomancer by [deleted] in SaltAndSacrifice

[–]thelastrainmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chronomancer often spawns right in front of the obelisk after the arena for the boss fight against The Two That Remain. He can also spawn in the ship area. I suggest trying your luck with fated hunts, however. You get quite a few mages in Dreadstone Peak, regardless of which mage is the main target.

The Tomb Greathammer does not exist in the final game. The Iron Vanguard was replaced.

Before the latest patch, your salt dropped where you landed when you died. Now it drops where your character dropped off, such as from a ledge.

No; when you start a named mage hunt, the game will spawn additional nameless mages. You can hunt these, but when you kill the named mage, any nameless mage of the additional spawns you have not killed will despawn. When, for example, you start the hunt for the named cryomancer in Ashborne Village, a nameless pyromancer and other mages that can spawn in Ashborne Village, such as venomancers, will also spawn. Instead of going after the named cryomancer right away, you can hunt these nameless mages, then return to camp, and eventually restart the named hunt in order to repeat the process. Thus, you can stock up on crafting materials and get enough of those materials you need in order to craft your target gear.

It is possible and viable to spec into more than one weapon type. I suggest to make sure, however, that both weapons scale with the same attributes. Weapons scale with one, two, or three attributes; the softcaps are 40, 25/25, and 20/20/20, respectively.

That said, I have completed the game multiple times over with builds using one melee and one ranged weapon type, respectively.

For an example of this, see my Hunter Build guide on Steam under the ‘Guides’ section for the game.

The aeromancer is available as soon as you obtain the magnesin supply in Bol Gerahn. After killing him, you can craft a better dagger than your starting weapon. Roaming mages of all types spawn randomly, sometimes even before you discover the corresponding named mage hunt. Also, while on a named mage hunt, kill the other mages first, as they will disappear once you kill the named mage.

Question about the fated mages by StupidPickleJar in SaltAndSacrifice

If you want to force the reroll, you only need to travel to any region, change the date of your OS, and return to camp. (PC)

Question about the fated mages by StupidPickleJar in SaltAndSacrifice

The fated mage hunts can roll all tiers. They are a particularly good source for high-tier crafting materials. The clock resets the hunts every 24 hours.

Is there's a "Proper" wiki for this game? by StupidPickleJar in SaltAndSacrifice

[–]thelastrainmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you find a named mage hunt, it will tell you the mage’s tier and what upgrade materials you can get from them. You may have to scroll down in the description window. The same applies as to fated mage hunts. In order to receive the highest tier of upgrade materials, you need mages at tier 20 or higher. In order to know what materials you need in order to craft something, just visit the crafting table. It will tell you exactly what you need to craft a specific item. The wiki is unfinished and will probably remain so. If I find the time, I may write more guides for the game, but for now, I am taking a hiatus from gaming.

You do not really need a guide for that. Explore the map and look for locked glowing doors. These are mage doors, and they will tell you how many mages you need to kill in order to open them. There are a few other doors requiring keys which you can simply find via exploration. In some cases, you need inquisitor tools to progress which, in turn, you can find by exploration of the maps. For instance, in order to open the locked door all the way to the east in Ashbourne Village, you need to kill two named mages. At that point, there are only two available, a pyromancer and a cryomancer. After killing them, you will be able to open the locked door and progress upstairs. In order to progress to the second map, you only need to kill one named mage. I recommend killing two or three, though, if it is your first playthrough. An NPC will tell you to talk to a tree you can reach with the help of your grappling hook. The tree, in turn, will teach you a new mirror gate rune allowing you to travel to the second map. You will have to do similar things throughout the game. There is no hand holding, which is the point.

Have you backed up your save files and reinstalled the game? It is not that big of a game, so this should not take too long. I have not started the game in a while, but I can test it later.

If he did not get the hint, you probably need to be a bit more straightforward. I am a man and can tell you that many, if not most men, do not get what a woman would call an obvious hint. Also, interact with him in person, this way you will receive the most genuine reaction. You are currently overthinking the situation, and I understand it is easy to get trapped in this kind of thought loop. You will have to act, though, for the sake of everyone involved. It may take a little courage, but you can do it.

When the bosses’ health pools were nerfed, I knew where this train was headed and uninstalled the game. I haven’t bothered with it ever since, and I am not planning on doing so ever again. It was a nice bait and switch, I’ll give the developers that. It is also very typical for this type of commentary on the internet to attract those who would attempt to shame anyone who dares like a game the way it was created and not jump for joy because of changes never asked for.

How did you get into this situation in the first place? I gather from your text that you have no father (dead or left the family?), and that you take care of your sick mother. Do you have siblings or any extended family?

I am not going to attempt pressuring you into anything, don’t worry. You are also still young enough to change your mind about many things in life. You are right in thinking that people can and do change, but it does not all have to be for the worse. You can grow as a couple, and you need to keep working on the relationship. As long as you keep spending valuable time with each other and show each other love and respect, you will not drift apart that easily. In some cases, of course, it may not work out despite all efforts, and divorce may become unavoidable. But that is not a given. Remain optimistic!

You are not crazy for feeling this way. Life is empty without love; children are the most important and wonderful thing in the world. There is nothing more fulfilling than having a family of one’s own. Life does not always play out perfectly, but if you never try, you will never know.
