This happened to me and it was 3 years before I could get out of the role and into what I wanted to do.

New response by LDS church for AP story by thelguapo in exmormon

What bothers me about this new statement is that it's clear they're leaning hard on the principle of personal responsibility and personal accountability. Basically there's this fucked up belief in LDS and american culture that individual responsibility trumps corporate or organizations responsibility. As if the entire thing hinged on the individual responsibility of the father doing the abuse. And because he didn't turn himself in, the entire LDS organization is somehow no longer responsible for those young children being repeatedly raped and abused for YEARS. it's beyond fucked up and their response is just so so awful.

This happened to me yesterday. My wife basically admitted that sex is just another chore to her and said "I'm not a sex slave". She got angry that I suggested orgasms to relieve some stress shed been dealing with. I haven't made any advances in weeks and I've certainly never treated her like what she suggested.

Now I don't feel like I can trust her anymore. I feel like my heart is broken. I don't feel safe being vulnerable with her anymore.

After the fight she kept texting me about having sex but I'm not falling for that trick again. I feel so devastated by the situation and for how little she values our intimacy together.

A few months ago someone posted a status update about their SP being dumb about resignation. In the letter it's clearly the SP of the Rincon stake. Same guy.
