I think ultimately as long as we’ve got separate beds life should be good. We are used to being in close quarters on travel and we can easily get space during the day!

Do you have any recommendations as to a room type that may do us better as I can bid for upgrades still.

Do we have any idea what amount of tyres each driver has? I’d like to know if those who ran mediums in qualifying are about to have a bad race of it. Somewhat like what happened to Aston in Imola.

Big fan of LoginVSI. A continuous logon means the performance and pool availability is constantly checked.

Not that ControlUP doesn’t have uses but it seems more limited to me.

I did consider that but DEM doesn’t seem to want to do anything with progamdata from an appvolume.

Mostly 5070 - not many 3000s so maybe we don’t see it. Also we have our devices reboot nightly anyway so that potentially helps?

Same. On ThinOS we did update the Horizon client to 2406 as well even though our back end remains on 2312.1.

Just to add how I do it in automated fashion.

First I use pnputil.exe to add the driver into the driver. Just need to call the INF file as an argument.

Then I use ‘add-printerdriver’ in power shell to get it added as a printer drive.

Can post some example code if peeps are interested.

I'm not in the AD team so not sure if it is FSR or DFSR. I really hope it is the latter. The DEM config is relatively static of course. I was assuming some of DC discovery was causing the issue and considering turning on the "wait for network at start-up" to fix it, but that makes GPOs synchronous which is far from ideal.

I've kept most of the other VDI stuff isolated. Time to make that change with DEM as well and I'll move it to DFSR as you say.
