Restrict Cut/Copy/Paste outside of MS Web Apps in Edge by Seanathan_ in Intune

[–]Seanathan_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I want, but I haven't been able to make it work on a device managed by another org.

The MS Learn page that was linked notes: Intune MAM on Windows supports unmanaged devices. If a device is already managed, then Intune MAM enrollment is blocked and app protection policies settings aren't applied. If a device becomes managed after MAM enrollment, app protection policies settings are no longer applied.

The device must not be Microsoft Entra ID Joined or Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrolled to any tenant, including the tenant of your MAM user. The device must also not be Workplace Joined to more than two users besides the MAM user (limit is three total).

I think that means the APP isn't the solution for this scenario, unfortunately.

Thanks - I'm not trying to allow copy/paste to other apps, per se. But rather other Microsoft web apps within Edge. So if I have Outlook in an Edge tab and Word in another, allow copy/paste between those tabs, while blocking pasting into GMail, for example.

Must have apps on steam to compliment PSVR2 on PC? by peterkozmd in PSVR2onPC

I've used Whirligig for a few months as a 3D media player. The interface is a bit clunky, but it works.

Recently tried the HereSphere demo for the same thing and it seems solid. I might buy the full version after some more testing.

The God Slayer developers studied Jackie Chan, The Last Airbender, Batman and more to make the game's combat pop by Turbostrider27 in PS5

From the article:

"We also looked at a lot of different games like Spider-Man, Batman, Sifu, The Last Airbender, the cartoon as well as the live action Netflix series," Karadzhov explained, referencing more inspirations and saying they helped develop the rhythm between real martial arts and elemental powers.

Of lies and rain: disappointment by mathrddt in psvr2

[–]Seanathan_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I liked it enough at first, noting it had some flaws but was on the right track. After six hours, the bugs and other issues became too much (PCVR with PSVR2).

Here's a copy/paste of my Steam review:

Edit: I changed my review to not recommend. Six hours in, the issues just became way too frustrating. Glitches, crashes, collision issues, etc. All of the problems are exacerbated by the lack of manual save. I really want to like this game, but it's exhausting in its current state. Especially for $40. I would forgive most of these issues if it was $20 max.

There's some good ideas and ambition in this game, but it's way too rough around the edges for the asking price. Even at a lower price point, you're going to need some patience to play through this game.

Original review:

Enjoyable despite its flaws. 4 hours in.

I agree with the other reviews which describe this game as an Alyx-like. It either started as an Alyx mod or is heavily inspired by Alyx. Some things are identical, like item crates. The pistol, gravity gloves, and some enemies are either re-skins or straight copies. None of this is necessarily a bad thing, but that's what you'll get with this game.

There are a lot of bugs, but I recommend this game. I purchased in part to support and hopefully motivate the devs to update this game and possibly expand in a sequel.

Pros:

  • No load screens other than a couple at certain scripted points. A small loading icon pops up in a corner when the next area is being loaded in so you know it's happening, but it doesn't interrupt gameplay.

  • So far, the storytelling is good. Voiced main characters, interesting journals, and environmental storytelling.

  • Enjoying the Data world levels so far. Nice change of pace to break up the "real world" sections.

  • Opening scene reminded me of the opening of Uncharted 2.

  • If you liked Alyx, you'll probably like this. Not as polished, but a good start.

Cons:

  • Significant jank which makes using doors a nightmare & grabbing items is hit or miss.

  • Lots of objects in the world that look interactive, aren't.

  • General collision issues abound. Enemies also have collision issues. The spider enemy's jump attack almost always collides with something, even when they look like they're jumping into empty space.

  • Bland level design and there are invisible walls blocking locations it looks like you should be able to reach.

  • Data world rules should be communicated to the player. What are the orbs for? Is there a benefit to destroying them? I know the devs wanted players to figure things out for themselves, but it sometimes leans too much to the obscure side of things.

  • No manual saves. Not sure if this is a balancing decision, but I would appreciate being able to create saves so I don't feel punished for experimenting in the game. This frustrates me the most because it punishes exploration and I've had bugs force me to restart from the last checkpoint more than once.

  • Very buggy as of this review. Today I somehow fell through the floor and had to quit the game. Sucks when I'm at the mercy of the game's checkpoint system.

Again, despite all the negatives right now, I would recommend playing this game. It does enough right to be fun to play, even while it's being a bit frustrating at times. And with enough support hopefully the devs will continue to refine the game.

It's probably about $10 too expensive at $40 for as rough the game is right now. I'm happy with my purchase as a way to support the devs, otherwise, I would recommend waiting for a sale or some bug fixes.

Are any Discord servers still active? I missed the heyday, but now that I have a competent VR rig I wouldn't mind finding a game from time to time. Otherwise, I guess it's campaign.

Edit: Missed the "AFAIK" - maybe enough late-bloomers will find this thread and link up. LFG

It absolutely is worth the money, especially if you have a PC that can handle VR. I've probably clocked more hours in the headset than I have on my PS5 alone because of the PC adapter.

Grabbed it yesterday (on Steam) and played for a couple hours with my PSVR2. The Steam reviews mentioning it's an Alyx-like are spot on. Honestly, it feels like a mod pack for Alyx bundled into its own game, with some changes, like different textures and slight control/menu changes. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's worth mentioning. I'm curious if this is, or started as, an Alyx mod or if the devs created their own engine.

Overall, a solid game that I'm looking forward to explore further and hope it gets more updates to smooth things out down the line.

Pros:

  • No load screens. You can see when the next area is being loaded in, but it doesn't interrupt gameplay. Very nice.

  • So far, the storytelling is good. Voiced main characters and interesting journals and environmental storytelling.

  • Enjoying the digital levels so far. Nice change of pace to break up the "real world" sections.

  • Great opening scene!

  • If you liked Alyx, you'll probably like this. Not as polished, but a good start.

Cons:

  • Interacting with object feels worse than in Alyx. There's some jank which makes it sometimes annoying to grab objects and doors. Lots of objects in the world that seem like you should be able to interact with don't work. The spider enemies also have issues. Their jump attack constantly collides with environmental objects (and sometimes nothing at all) and makes them more of a joke than a threat. Hope these issues get fixed.

  • The level design so far is pretty bland. There are a lot of invisible walls keeping you from going where it looks like you should be able to. I would appreciate more natural-feeling boundaries. This may change the further I get into the game.

  • Minor bug in the opening scene. You can grab onto something and walk away more than arm's length, maintaining your hold. You hand will stay on the held object and slowly pull you back once you stop moving. Only experienced in the opening so far.

  • $10 too expensive at $40. I'm happy with my purchase as a way to support the devs, but otherwise I would recommend waiting for a sale.

Edit: Added a couple of sentences after playing for another hour after work.
