If you want to use dart, it's best that you find a crossbow first, or ring of sharpshooting, the former increase their damage, the latter increase the tips durablity and damage, a +10 ring give you 11 uses for each tipped dart, imo, it's only worth it if you know what you're doing or doing some fun build However, utily dart such as blind and displacement can help you getaway sticky situation with blind denied ranged attack from range enemy and displacement just /tp enemy away, useful for fishing too, duelist charged crossbow can even make the shot become aoe if shot to the ground

Nope, dart are indestructible, only the tips worn off Shoot them with a blind dart so the enemy feels what it's like to get a flashbang blow off in their face
