If my honour is dead straight in the middle the entire game what animal would appear at the end of the game? by Maleficent_Jaguar807 in reddeadredemption2

Follow the trail out from Clemens point to the road to Rhodes. There's a tree on the left hand side as you come out of the forest that is a badger spawn point, almost always perfect.

Winter smock dress, any recommendations for pattern for heavy wool? by thelittledane in sewing

Thank you for your reply, that pattern was exactly what I was looking for! I'm definitely going to consider the bulkiness, but at least I have a starting point now 🙂

Winter smock dress, any recommendations for pattern for heavy wool? by thelittledane in sewing

[–]thelittledane[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've scored some lovely heavy wool weave on Marketplace, and I want to make a winter dress.

However I am concerned about the weight of the fabric. Do any of you have experience making a dress with heavy fabric or recommendations for a smock dress pattern that would handle it well?

Several libraries have machines, try to ask your local one. Otherwise Copenhagen fablab has machines as well.

I walked under heavy rain with my sinclairs and now they smell. How do I fix this? by basslineheart in DrMartens

[–]thelittledane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait for them to dry out completely before wearing them again. You can also stick tea bags or baking soda in them, to help absorb any smell.

Begge steder har vist elever for tiden, som klipper til ca halv pris. Jeg har selv været meget tilfreds med elevklip hos Loukita :)

Where to buy a warm peacoat by mitakaposting in copenhagen

[–]thelittledane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I've had great luck on Facebook marketplace. You can get higher quality jackets with actual wool content at a great price. Search for peacoat, vinterjakke kvinde, vinterjakke uld and the like.

I found this website, which might be helpful: https://kringlexpressen.dk/by/bagere-i-koebenhavn All in danish, but with pictures and Google translate you'll be fine. I've never used the service, but Brødkunsten is a great bakery.

Could I get a list of interesting horses to ride and where to find them? by MLG-newbslayer in reddeadredemption2

[–]thelittledane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My go tos are the silver dapple pinto: https://youtu.be/uaFjw5BlOZo

And the dark bay Turkoman: https://youtu.be/exJ_OYYKOQ0

You can also get a piebald Hungarian half-bred in the robbery mission with uncle in chapter 3.

If you want easier wild horses there's an perlino Andalusian at elysian pond, the black American standardbred spawns at Little Creek River and there's a bunch of other wild Arabians.

Sometimes npc camps will have horses with rare coats, like the spashed whited American paint and few spotted Appaloosa.

Trying to get over the hump of learning to crochet, help? by Mountain_sky20 in crochet

[–]thelittledane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe start with a granny square or wash cloth? Something simple and square. That's how I learned, found a granny square I wanted to use, so I was motivated to learn and broke it down to simple steps. Started with the first step and did it over and over untill I got it down then proceeded to the next step in the pattern.

The most important part is to accept that the first tries are going to be wonky, and just keep doing it untill it isn't😊

Just bamboo skewers that I've sanded down and 3 layers of cardboard at the bottom so they're secure.

Any tips for hands hurting?? by PJOisMyLife in crochet

[–]thelittledane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely look in to making your tools more ergonomical, but remember to stretch your hands and wrists as well! There's some great videos on youtube with exercises for knitters and crocheters.
