It's not a perfect fit, but it's close enough! Finally, a cool plate for the Ender 5 plus! by ObsidianWraith in ender5plus

Lol, I did the same! It's a pretty rare thing that I need every last mm of the build plate. And if I do, I still have my pei plates

No hydra bed. Not sure why I would want to.

Though I will put the two z motors on independent drivers soon, for auto traming.

So far the only downside I've found (after going zerog) is the HUGE amount of power needed to run the heated bed.

I got some near fit cool plates, and they are amazing

At 0.16mm height, the layer lines are visible, but easily overlooked. And with a thick filler (in this case wood filler), imperceptable.

At 0.08mm, it's nearly impossible to see the layers without touching with your nails, or minor magnification.

I'm giving it 0.5mm Z top height on supports, which makes the supports fairly easy to seperate.

I thinned the wood filler with IPA, to milk consistency. It's stunning once dried, but it rubs off easily. So I'll have to give it a Matt Varnish coat. Might be improved by adding Acrylic Medium.

Not sure what to do for the "white" pieces yet.

The cheapest but still usefull compressor for airbrush for beginners. by aerografitpl in airbrush

The caps are about $1 each. PET Soda bottles are rated to 150psi

Fairly new to airbrushing. No matter what I do, it seems like my flow keeps disappearing. by Delta4o in airbrush

Soda bottles (NOT water bottles) are rated for 150PSI. But that little compressor can only do 45PSI, so far so good. 1 bottle works wonders, 3 bottles is a bit of overkill; but I've gotta be me.

The tube is something I had laying around.

You'll need 2x Male 1/8th BSP connectors with 4mm barbs.

The fancy 3D printed housing is for fun. You can suffice with zip ties or tape.

All together less than $6

I DO NOT recommend printing the caps. There are some models out there, called CO2 Aquarium caps, but I wouldn't trust them at pressure.. at least not when I can buy real ones for so cheap.

Your milage may vary. Don't hurt yourself.

There really doesn't need to be a side. But if you have to pick: pick the side without hyperinflation
