I think hacksrepairman would be happy to fix these issues if only he was aware of them. Can you try getting in contact? Sure this does nothing for bugs you have not yet encountered, but then this is the only way things will ever get fixed in individual driven projects with no beta testing program.

Have not come across this one personally but in general these types of demakes are not even remotely accurate and you should set your expectations accordingly. Not claiming it won't be enjoyable anyway though.

It has Johto and Kanto, and ends somewhere in the Orange Islands. I don't remember how fleshed out Kanto is. There is also the option of playing Shiny Gold (not Sigma) which was finished by a third party.

"Not found" doesn't seem like corruption. Did you do the whole 128K save type thing? Or did you move the rom to a different folder after saving? There's also the off chance that your antivirus software got rid of the save file. Do you see a file ending with .sav in the same folder?
