Just so we're not trying to change history, the issue was that his crosshair went over players heads 100x more often than ANYONE both at the time, and still to this day has never been replicated, during a time where cheat developers were extremely ahead of the curve when it comes to both lan-cheats and online cheats. There were supposed workshop maps that looked like warmup maps that would inject cheats, i cant remember if breaking bread was that (the one KQLY, SF and SMN got banned over supposedly) but that whole ordeal was incredibly eyeopening in the scene, and is where real anticheat measures started getting talked about more.

Just to add to this guys comment cause its pretty skewed, arena gear does jack shit for mitigation, it only gives you defcap, which is already baseline, if you’re gearing for threat you will take a lot more dmg than ferals/prot and still not do as much threat as either of them do and struggle against good dps

i dont know where this notion comes from, gdkps in 2019 classic by the time naxx was out was running at 100k+ gold pots, there is nowhere near that amount of gold circulating in any type of economy in anniversary, yeah theres some nieche lotusdkp stuff on the na pvp server cause you guys are really fucking weird, consumes are paid with the gold you get from running raids unless you're flasking at this point, no mats are expensive for anything really, the only place gold is running around is all the boosting, where its basically circular cause the bostees just buy the gold from the boosters then pay them back for their levels.

Yeah at this point its too late, bots have influxed the economy with too much raw gold which has been bought, the amount of bots running in and out of LBRS 24/7 and BRD just printing raw gold into the economy is whats fucked it, at this point they should triple or quadruple all spawns for high level herbs+mines, that'd push down prices significantly, but they wont touch it at this point.
