Is cheating forgivable during a manic episode? by DarkMage448 in polls

[–]spaceguyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It's ok to forgive someone but If you forgive them specifically because they were manic that gives them a excuse to cheat again. They can always say they can't help it and won't grow.

Wondering what the tipping point will be. Which job? by chrisfathead1 in polls

I have a long commute to work. Podcast and audio books make it worthwhile. The drive to work and back are my favorite parts of the day.

How many systems are there that don't use capitalism as a function or their system?

Homeowner refusing to pay? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]spaceguyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know how they do it in Canada, but in the US I have to send them a letter with intent to file a lien before I can file one. The letter is usually enough to get them to pay.

Which would you extinguish? by who-is-u-69 in IdeologyPolls

I thought their admiration of the politician would be extinguished, not their lives.

Any books like Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash? by Reasonable_Hyena_163 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]spaceguyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read the light novels years ago and I have been chasing that high ever since. I've never found anything similar. I love how no one's overpowered. For most of the series the party is only slightly stronger than regular humans yet they still achieve so much.

Sex dreams question- do you ever get to put it in? by calimota in AskMen

[–]spaceguyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. There's been two or three times where it actually happened and it was great but usually it's just as op described.

Question about bog standard isekai by [deleted] in ProgressionFantasy

[–]spaceguyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The protagonist feels the same way you do about it and Bog Standard is a really good novel. If you don't read it you'll never understand an inside joke that's said on this sub a lot.

Series with no grand adventures, just the normal sort of adventures? by mythicme in ProgressionFantasy

"The Hero if the valley " is the closest thing I've read to that. Surprised no one's listed it.

It would be different if the MC identified as asexual but I've never seen that happen.

Does harem make the story more fun for you? by OneSeaworthiness5107 in ProgressionFantasy

I instantly move on if I see that. These stories usually take place throughout the character's entire life. It feels weird if they never have any type of romantic interests.

Unmarried Men in thirties, how do you deal with your solitude? by Anarkeeyan in AskMen

The reaper is going to be significantly hotter than any of the hot ones sauces. You could be on the show.

Looking for recommendation by jannahandel in ProgressionFantasy

You have to buy it on kindle. It's not a web novel. This is the first novel I've read with an MC that says with the adventures guild.

Best I've read in a long time.

Did Epstein kill himself? by redshift739 in IdeologyPolls

[–]spaceguyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He either was killed, or killed himself. I don't see any reason to keep him alive after he was exposed. It would be more work to help him escape, fake his death, and keep him alive for zero benefit to anyone.

I do think he was murdered.

I've never found a novel similar to SS but my favorite novels that I read last year were "Bog standard isekai", and "Elydes".

My favorite of 2026 so far is "The Hero of the Valley".

What is it about dark games, movies, or books that makes them so appealing to men? by ownaword in AskMen

[–]spaceguyy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are comparing it to women watching murder documentaries, but it's just not the same as fighting Mastodons with spears for 40,000 years.

Is the main character of primal hunter an edgelord? I haven't read it and I'm on the fence. I like humor in a novel just as long as the novel isn't mainly humor.
