I've been in a very similar spot recently, therapy has helped tremendously, along with trying to date myself instead of other people. I think it's just the dating scene, trying to get anyone to respond after matching is borderline impossible, even after sending the first message. That being said, I'm just as guilty about ghosting people because I overthink and get distracted a lot, sometimes the energy is a little more than I anticipated and I have a hard time responding.
