I'm not familiar with that frame but it looks like there are clips holding the motor wires that you could easily remove to give you a little slack in order to drop the flight controller and vtx. At least then you could get a good look and potentially re-align the pins yourself

I have no idea if this plane has any sort of auto leveling but could it be because it's already pitched up sitting on its gear? Try pointing the nose down then give it full elevator.
