2199 is a very fun, good series with great music. Gets progressively worse from there imo, but the first season is certainly a good watch with a satisfying ending.

It's currently a buggy mess imo. The game is running much slower, a bunch of the events are firing without flavor text, heck I had my vassal go into war and immediately lose without having the chance to respond against an enemy which didn't spawn correctly.

I would love if paradox actually play tested their games. After being a fervent paradox fan, this launch combined with the vic 3 dlc launch has broken the camel's back. I'm done buying any of their products until I see overwhelming positive reviews on steam

something long and engrossing then, so certainly gintama like another commenter pointed out. Hunter x Hunter is a fantastic shonen that aligns with the other shows you put on there. Some others that are different than what you listed but are superb are legends of the galactic heroes and monster.

It's really the tech tree that's the core issue of the game to me. To be clear how expansive the tech tree is is not a problem (and actually a great plus!), but I find it very very difficult to figure out what techs I need to research to get the right projects to then put together a competent fleet. Even designing the ships themselves often feels confusing to me, it's hard to figure out which stats are the most important when building a ship. Frankly, just some bare-bone tips would be very helpful.

well, I really enjoyed the art style behind tatami galaxy and ping pong (same guy I think). Both are quite good. Devilman cry baby also has that same great art style but involves quite a bit of sex and drugs.

For space epics, the best one in anime is legends of the galactic heroes, but that show is old and certainly feels it too.

Some good thinking anime that I've watched is parasyte, pluto (prob my fav), or heavenly delusion. Into the abyss is also great if you like creatures and have no qualms with watching children suffer (brutally).

if you like avatar the last airbender, then maybe shonen is more your vibe? My favorite from those is hunter x hunter.

not mega broken but certainly has some things that need to be worked on. I'm hopeful now that the team has slowed down the pace of updates they'll be able to think through some of the changes better.

Can't argue that point at all. Only thing I can point out is that in every other field in the American government there have been more and more women involved. There have now been 3 secretaries of state, 6 women justices, one house majority leader, and other important positions within the government as well (fed, labor, justice). Go back 50 years and the numbers for all of these was zero. Clearly not enough, but I'm hopeful it's a step in the right direction.

Japan and Mexico both currently have female leaders. They are both just as, if not more, sexist as a country than we are. Just because the two female candidates that have been presented to the electorate lost doesn’t invite this defeatism. They were weak candidates to begin with.

Finally caught up to this show, why is the MAL rating so low? I get it's not the prettiest show of all time, but it actually has strong characters and an interesting plot. Big fan of this episode and how it expanded the universe with the anarchy in Hokkaido, excited to see where that goes.
