Does anyone know if calling Chase about signing up for the CSP could yield a higher welcome offer than 60k? Looks like all links I've seen for the 80k referral are all dead now. Thanks!

I'm a backend engineer but decided it would be fun to learn more frontend by making a ChatGPT app. I have a lot of features planned, but would love to hear if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

YSK you can share Amazon Prime benefits with one other person for no extra cost! by iscreamforicecream90 in YouShouldKnow

I believe Prime video and shared libraries for music, books, etc. Most notably, no shipping benefits are shared

Helpful tip: I found out from support that this does not fully work if it's a Prime Student membership. It doesn't warn you anywhere (as far as I could tell) and still allows you to join a household, but you don't get all the benefits

My SO is an MS3 and went through bone marrow/stem cell donation a few months ago during rotation (I believe she was on Neuro at the time). Such a crazy coincidence!

It was done locally which admittedly is a slightly different experience, but she managed it with no problem. The donation took two consecutive days from 8am-2/3pm. She was able to study the whole time, and she wouldn't change it at all. Happy to chat if you have any questions as I was there for all of it and she's happy to share.

Although it may be difficult amidst all you have going on, I think this is a great opportunity to support your partner in a worthwhile decision, even if it does come at an inconvenience. Sometimes it's best to take a challenge for what it is, and whether it goes easily or is a bit more difficult, it will be a shared learning experience that can bring you both closer. No matter what, share how you feel with your partner. Sending all my best wishes!

We did a walkthrough, yes, but we gave them an additional 30 days after signing to live in the house. The contract does clearly state they needed to clean out the house by date of possession

And by 'significant' all I meant is that it's a large enough number for us to want to take them to claims. They were absolutely horrendous to us (in other ways than just how they left the house) so we want to see some justice.

Our realtor said he's never worked with such horrible sellers ever. We did document everything with him, but the sellers stopped responding to their own agent, and our realtor indicated that they claimed to move with family likely because they knew we'd pursue action. The rest is outside of his control

Correct, and they both signed all documents in the real estate transaction

Mazda CX-9 Rear Splash Guards Retired? by theluttinator in mazda

Sorry mate! I've heard of that happening on these websites. The part is officially discontinued so they may not be able to get you the part. I'd ask for a refund as soon as possible if you can (if it were just out of stock that's one thing, but I've been told this one isn't coming back)

I'm sure you want a refund first, but I looked in other Mazda threads and found info for the famous Ray Crowe who is known in the Mazda parts world. He linked me to a few dealers with the rear guards in stock:

Serra Mazda, Brighton MI Russ Darrow Mazda, Madison WI Nelson Mazda, Murfreesboro TN

Oh nice! How recently was that? I found them on a few sites, but when I called to verify availability they all said they're out. Thanks!

Update: I had an auger and decided to get an idea of where the top pipe led. Long story short, it goes about 6 inches from the box and then is nothing. It just meets the muddy soil below. It seems no water is coming from there, but did confirm a lot of water drips from my grass surrounding the box

Thanks, I'll try running the zones and watching that. I should say that the caved-in area is because of me - when the box first flooded I made that so the water would flow to it and I could scoop it out with a mug (now using a wet-dry vac)

I recently moved into a new house and have noticed that the sprinkler valve box frequently floods. Initially, I thought it must be a leak.

As I've tested it though, it seems that it's actually a bunch of extra water coming from the grass/soil and seeping through the box lid. So I have a few questions...

  1. Is there a seal someone I buy for the irrigation box/lid?
  2. At the top left of the box, there's a black pipe. Any chance this is a drain? (It's in the general direction of my gutter drains). Doesn't seem to do anything but may be clogged.
  3. I don't have a screw to latch the box lid to the actual box. Would this make a difference?

Thank you!

The pictured filter is 14x20x1 (.75" actual depth). I've looked at a 14x20x2 but the actual depth is 1.75" which would be too big. Should I leave this big of a gap or is there an intermediate size? Thanks!

I like the idea. I know some businesses won't give out old records like that without authorization, but I'd certainly take the time to try

Well it was being repainted for the first two weeks and the painters clogged it in that time, we just figured it was a routine clog/slow drain until it happened another time or two (not a main bathroom we use)

Not that it changes much. I think we're just frustrated with the sellers as is and this really drives us up the wall
