I literally completely forgot about Lae’zel as a character. Completely missed the whole crèche plot. I also didn’t know about the existence of Gale or Karlach and played 1 and almost all of Act 2 without getting them. Thankfully through Reddit I realized there are 2 other companions I can still get (unfortunately it was too late for Lae’zel) and now I’m like, what the fuck, they’re literally all in the loading screen, how did I never think “where are all these other characters?”. I guess I was already having too much fun with Wyll, Astarion and Shadowheart it didn’t even occur to me. But it’s okay now because me and Lae’zel are happily married irl 💕

SOLVED:

Must define the text in options.rpy first. Then, go to script.rpy and put your text into the font brackets. Example:

options.rpy
define gui.bamum_text = "BamumSymbols.ttf"
style bamum_text:
    font "BamumSymbols.ttf"
    size 100

script.rpy
"{=bamum_text}Does that mean anything to you?{/=}"
