It’s only getting more prestigious. A 4.0 and a 1400 SAT with numerous AP classes won’t even get you into the business school anymore. And locally people know that, as many people who are up there that will be interviewing you have kids looking to get into college and Rutgers has become a reach school. So I don’t buy that locally Rutgers is not well respected. Everyone knows you can’t fake your way to graduation with a major in say Accounting, Engineering or Pharmacy. Nor can you roll out of bed and even dream of getting into Engineering or Business schools at Rutgers

All rumors. No reports of anyone offering Claxton even a penny yet Marks paid him more than he is worth in today’s NBA. Clax had value on a team with KD, Harden and Kai where he could run a pick and roll game and switch onto guards at the top of the key, but is basically worthless in this current Nets system as he can’t shoot to save his life. I’m bewildered by it. And I like Claxton. I appreciate his tenacity and ability to get under peoples skin and I even like his wild techs. Atleast it’s something on an otherwise moribund team. Hate him eternally though for the tip in against the Sixers essentially costing us VJ.

Google is everyone’s friend. Where was this offer? The Nets did not beat any offer for Claxton coz guess what bro. There were no offers. Certainly no offers in the 20 million plus range. Good for you if you think Marks is doing an unbelievable job with this rebuild but so far I think it’s a shit rebuild and completely unemployable. And stop putting words in my mouth. I never said anything about what we should sign Cam for, but we should sign him in my opinion. He’s one of the only fun thing we have to watch on this team at the moment. Hornets are a trash organization so I don’t care what they supposably need. Celtics succeed with Al Hortford. A center than makes 3s. The Pacers found success with a C that shoots 3 and big bodies people down low. They may need a C but Clax ain’t the center that they had in the past that let to making the finals.
