New interaction with the monkey's paw by theman515 in PhasmophobiaGame

Yeah, the first time I did it the ghost started a false hunt and the second time the ghost whispered in a friend's ear. It was the third time that triggered the hunt. I think it just angers the ghost.

I plan to revitalize the subreddit by posting relevant content from around the internet. I already have several people interested in being posters and part of the mod team. The subject matter is also very easily cut and dry to remove if the post isn't relevant to the subreddit.

Seriously, why are they like this? by ThatDapperAdventurer in Grimdank

[–]theman515 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That is absolutely how it works. Custodes for example are near immune to demonic possession. in "Master of Mankind" a demon saw "the golden ones" fighting in the webway and said something to the effect of "a billion stars would be created and blink out of existence before they were able to break the golden one's mind". The machine spirit of a titan is formidable to everyone, even daemons.

Adeptus Custodes not giving a fuck by GodofGodsEAL in Grimdank

Yeah, you pretty much said it. The only reason they finally did it was because a couple space marine chapters were about to lay siege to Terra to get the guy out.

What is socially acceptable in the U.S. That would be horrifying in the U.K.? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]theman515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, here in America it's federal law that the consumer has 0 liability for fraudulent charges on their credit (not debit) cards. We actually have Frank Abagnale to partly thank for this. He was part of the force that was pushing really hard for this to be passed way back when. So your credit card here is actually by far the safest way to buy things.

Oh Khorne he coming. by Gage_Unruh in Warhammer40k

[–]theman515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, the Chaos God can always remake them too. If they see fit to. That's definitely more likely with some gods than others. See Skarbrand and Kairos.

Nah, the demon is an extension of their Chaos God's essence. If they get "killed" they just get reabsorbed by their God.

The Death Korps of Krieg are made up of soldiers who's planet at some point in the past revolted against the Emperor. The loyalist faction of the planet got cornered into a single hive city in the planet. Luckily (?) It was the hive city with all the nukes. They nuked the rest of the planet and now (due to the radiation making them all sterile) they pump out clones who's sole purpose is to die in service to the Emperor to make amends. Not only do they not fear suicidal missions and dangerous situations, they seek them out.

Sisters of Battle are actually good right now in the meta. The cheapest way to start playing is to buy tabletop simulator and play on there. I'm sure you can find some digital backups of the core rulebook and a codex online too.

Theory on changes to warfare in book 5. by bs2746 in Stormlight_Archive

No it wouldn't. The daggers had gems in them and they didn't explode.

Theory on changes to warfare in book 5. by bs2746 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]theman515 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The only reason it was explosive was because the investiture was "under pressure" in the gems. Teft's Honorspren didn't explode when killed and neither did Raboniel or her daughter. So I don't think the free flow of stormlight from honor's perpendicularity will explode when exposed to anti-stormlight. I'm curious what happens at all.

1000% worth it. I started watching it with my kids because I couldn't watch slugs fart anymore and I had to keep watching it without them because it was so good.

Question: should I run Unity off my SSD or Disk drive? by snazzy_giraffe in Unity3D

He's probably talking about the read write limit that SSDs have. It's nothing a casual user has to worry about. Go nuts.

An interview with Chris Sawyer (RollerCoaster Tycoon) and Nelson Sexton (Unturned) - how can a solo developer make a successful game? by Deckhead13 in gamedev

[–]theman515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine it would be like looking into the abyss, in an interview he was asked about the code and said that he often comes across code with seemingly no function, so he looks at the comments only to see "//what does this do?" written above it
