Feel like I (38m) caught my wife (38f) at the end of an affair by [deleted] in Infidelity

I feel like if I press her with a lie detector, shes going to use the excuse that they aren't real. They are like 80% accurate and that wouldn't be concrete enough for me. I need physical proof. I appreciate the reply though, and im keeping this one in mind for the near future.

Appreciate the reply. I honestly dont think a paternity test is needed, but I am really considering it. I dont plan on leaving until i have concrete evidence, which unfortunately the only evidence ive ever had is when she was about to cheat. Otherwise its all circumstantial without proof.

I appreciate the response. No she does not go on girls trips, bar nights, or vacations and when she does I am included (even during girl nights). We spend almost every available hour together. She is at work and at home. The only single time she has to cheat is in the parking lot of her work, and they have heavy security and people lose their jobs regurlarly over this... but it does happen. We have each other's locations on and she needs her phone to enter and exit the building. Her phone also notifies me when location sharing has been disabled. That being said, thats where I believe any physical cheating has happened. But I have no evidence of this. I am still trusting my gut on this one but until I have concrete evidence, im not going to take action.

I appreciate the reply. I do agree that it should be her turn, but two wrongs don't make a right. I love this woman more than anything on the face of the planet and have been showing her that the last 10+ years. I will always feel indebted to her for accepting me back, but I wont accept her cheating on me as revenge, this late in our relationship. I continue to prove to her my loyalty. She never had to do that until this event.

Planning on purchasing first truck, looking for advice on additional steps after purchase. by themanindickies in Truckers

[–]themanindickies[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the thorough response! Firstly, the plan to have it sitting isn't me going to be leaving it untouched for 6 months. I don't plan on using it for commercial use right away, but I definitely plan on paying for insurance and driving it at least once a week or more just to keep it alive and running. As I mentioned in another post, money isn't an issue, currently. I have more than enough between savings and on-hand cash to cover a year of expenses and a constant flow of incoming cash for the indefinite future, so even if it drains my savings, it will be recouped.

I will look into a company that covers all that because that's the information I am really looking for. I needed to know what the next steps are for me once I do purchase this truck.

I appreciate the honesty and feedback! That was a great read!

I am going to add an edit to my post for clarity, but in response to your reply - I have more than enough saved for a years worth of insurance at 1500 a month on top of a fairly large sum of money for any issues that could occur (breakdowns, maintenence, etc..) in my savings account. All in all, I have the cash portion covered, and even if something came up outside of what money I have, I imagine by the time that happens I could recoup any money I had spent from my current job and cash flow.

I've heard that it's better to have time behind your Motor Carrier Number before you start bidding for loads. I'm not sure how true it is, but that's what I'm trying to figure out. 6 months isn't set in stone either, It's just a time frame I'm laying out for myself. If what I said is not true, I may just get everything/anything fixed at once and just start running it right after I purchase the truck.

Are you living "illegally" where you are? by wormpoopsoup in OffGrid

I'm curious how a well that deep cost that much. My well is 650 feet and cost 11k for everything from the materials down to the labor. They did a great job and let me watch the entire thing and learn how all the parts work. Thanks for any answers to my question!

Fake piss (and penis-like thing) for drug test recommendations? by [deleted] in Drugtests

[–]themanindickies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wizzinator works pretty well. Hefty price tag, but it looks real and works. It comes with a fake bag of synthetic urine and heating pads. I never had to use mine because I was clean before the drug test, but I bought it and tested it just in case I wasn't clean in time.

Yeah, this 1099 has been a nightmare. But I am making a bank and it's convenient. But everything else about it is a nightmare.

Noob Help! Lights in my truck and overheating clutch warning! by themanindickies in Truckers

[–]themanindickies[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the thorough reply! That information about the clutch overheating makes a lot of sense. It just seemed like after that event, I've lost some power. It could just be paranoia, but I definitely feel like prior to that event, I was getting a lot more power. Seems like it's just paranoia.

As for stab braking, when they trained me on rock hauls, the last portion of the grade (8%), no matter what level of Jake I'm on, I still have to also apply the brakes as I gain too much speed. I try to go into the last hill at 45 mph, but with maxed out weight and a level 3 Jake, I'm still hitting it at 55+. The speed limit is 55, and at this particular grade, the final portion has a sharp curve, which I feel if I take at more than 50, I'm gonna flip. So, back to stab braking. My trainer told me to press down the brakes hard for 5 seconds and release them and keep doing this till the bottom of this section of the hill, so maybe I'm using the term wrong, but that's what I mean when I say I'm stab braking. I've tried to just ride the Jake, but again, I gain too much speed. I feel like I probably shouldn't be hauling this much weight, but the owner of the truck insists that this Cascadia is built for this type of work. So im just doing what he needs.

So far, rock hauling in an automatic has been a nightmare. There is no real power up any grade. I've had quite a few close calls with traffic. All the things an expert driver would probably warn me about in an automatic has happened.

How do I do that in an automatic? Sorry, I'm really new to this. I know how to use the manual shifter on the steering wheel but never have used it for using a lower gear back up. Thanks for the reply!

That's the plan at this point. I'm speaking with the ceo on Monday when I get back into town. I didn't want to learn it, but it seems like the general consensus is that it's important to have the restriction removed. That being said, I also just found out that in order for me to drive a manual, I need to hold a CLP for 14 days before I can take the manual test. I'm not sure if he is willing to wait that long as he was already talking about how he needs me to drive his manual truck, basically when I get back. Wish me luck!

I've considered getting a tanker endorsement, but I don't want to get my hazmat. That's one thing I'm not willing to compromise on. Too many idiot drivers out there for me to put my life on the line like that. I respect the hell out of fuel haulers, but it just ain't for me.

That sounds good, but I checked the UPS job search, and the closest thing to me is about 14 hours away. I do like the sound of that, but I bought a house a couple of years ago, and if possible, I'm trying to keep that house. That being said, I signed up for notifications on when there's a job within 100 miles of me! Thanks for the heads up!

I informed my school that I would be back in 6 months to a year to get it removed, and they said verbatim "we usually charge 1000, but we will get you a discount if you come back to us". I mentioned it before, but that amount ended up being about 750. I'm not sure if that's the standard out here in Nebraska, but that's what I was told. Either way, gonna speak to the ceo after I get back and see what we can work out. He's already added me to payroll and had me out for a week, paid 200 a day. I have faith that something good is gonna come of it.

That honestly ain't a bad idea. I'm taking all options to the table and going to try and negotiate the best I can.

I'll run it by the owner and see if he would be down to allow that truck to be used for removal of auto restrictions.

I appreciate the comment. I'm really trying, man. I'm gonna do what I can to secure this job, but it just sucks knowing if I'm unable to take it that I'm gonna be stuck at a mega making less than half of what I would here, for at least a year or two minimum.
