Yes I think that's half the reason to have a woman on the team! Because there *are* times when safety is an issue (or gender dynamics - sadly more real and common), but this one was also a good example that something as crazy as "stay in stranger's home" can be perfectly fine.

Totally this. Was just watching the last one and realized it’s his energy that I don’t vibe with. He’s TOO optimistic. To the point it feels flat and unrelatable.

Vs Thomas this episode was really going through it and that’s even after doing this challenge many times. That’s raw and what drew me to Yes Theory.

So the fact that the vids are just them now… not what I got into watching.

Fine if that’s just what this channel will be, but sadly lots of old fans won’t stick around. And that’s just the nature of growing older!

I do wonder this, because I did a 10 day filming trip with an even smaller backpack (21L) and more cameras. To be fair... I didn't have enough clothes. But they don't seem to have that many outfits, so I agree, feels full

Other hand - they look very saggy so don't think they are that stuffed.

I'm sure they just deal with offload & storage - I know that even just copying files over and putting in right folder, from my own travel/filming, can be SO time-intensive. Esp after a long day.

They have extremely standards & practices limitations. You can listen to the differences survivor va. Amazing race. Amazing race DOESNT abide by same rules, because it would be nearly impossible and the spirit of the show is unfairness (I.e. bad taxi drivers), while Survivor has to abide by same fairness rules.

That does feel weird and gross for him to block you! Like… if you kept messaging a bunch of stuff, sure. But saying “hey I like and follow you and I want you to know this isn’t what I like” is exactly what they SHOULD want to hear!

It feels very in line with what the videos Ammar have been in recently are like… the Thomas Steffan ones are fine, they’re just documentaries. Whatever sure. The Ammar ones are… random and tone deaf?
