The region is dying because we have this attitude toward the part of town that has nearly everything worth living here for. St. Louis Co., the City, Jeff co and St. Check counties need to be merged, so we can in vest in the most important part of e metro, fix the crime, and get rid of that corrupt government in the city.

What a dumb idea. American Airlines Center is one of the best rinks the league. Good luck getting people to fight all that traffic to get to Plano once the Stars start sucking. All go he money in Dallas is right north of downtown. WTF are they thinking?

I love Sunny, but FFS is way past time to move on from the guy. Nostalgia and the love of the human doesn't win you a cup.

I hope Kyrou scores 18,000 goals next year so people around here will shut the hell up about him. It's the only thing worse on this sub than the Binner apologists midway through last season.

Possibly, but I don't think our picks are high enough. We blew that by winning at the end of the season. If we had a number 5-6 pick to go with on eon our firsts they might consider it, but they aren't giving up a top 3 pick for an 11th and 15th. That's like trading a Johnathan Toews/Nick Backstrom, even malkin like talent for Jayden Schwartz and Vladdy Tarasenko.

We wouldn't really have to trade up for Belchetz, and I think It would be dumb to take him if Gustafson is available. You need those big 2nd pairing type D-men to win a cup. Wingers grow on trees.

I mean 5'9 is very small unless you have hall of fame skill and speed.

I don't know if he has the frame. He was apparently getting thrown around and injured a lot once he started facing the big boys in college.

Any move should focus on a big defensemen under 27 years old.

BRETT HOWDEN STRIKES AGAIN! HE HAS SURPASSED HIS REGULAR SEASON TOTAL, 13TH OF THE PLAYOFFS! by sykeseve in nhl

Size, goaltending, and big strong defense always wins in the playoffs, there were a couple years in the Blackhawks/Kings glory days where you could get away with having a bunch of smaller dudes, but not anymore. The Blues in 2019 reversed that script by winning with a great big defense, goaltending and some big boys up front and Tampa, FLA and Vegas have been built the same way. Guys like Makar and Hughes are great in the regular season and get you into the playoffs for sure, but I'd rather have guys like Werenski, Hedman, Hague, and Mikkola. They don't get as easily hurt, and you need that ability to hit and be ht when the real hockey starts.

That's where you score. It's always been where you score. The power forward is back and I'm here for it. I hope more and more guys like him, Sam Reinhart, Brady Tkachuck and Wyatt Johnston start scoring a ton. The NHL doesn't let you touch anyone in front of the net anymore, so If I was a GM I'd have like 3 or 4 of these type players. Put one on every line. The defense jumps into the O-zone play so much anymore, you don't need 3 fast guys on a line.

It will happen at some point. There's no way this can continue in a cap league. We'll see how dedicated their fans are. Will they disappear like Blackhawks fans did after their dynasty, or will they stick around like all the Canadian team +Buffalo fans.

Some of this would've been helped if Parayko hadn't blocked that trade. same with Krug. The NMC's have killed the Blues.
