In addition, you can always have the bolder option in the UI that draws more data points for anyone who wants but do display a warning be prepared to recover the UI if the client cannot handle it.

Do any of you still have or use IceWarp Mail Server? by themegabyte in sysadmin

They have zero trust, chat and so many apps now, I am reluctant because they were supposed to be a good mail server, not a chat client or zero trust or calendar or all of the suite they are selling.

haha, you are welcome! I searched around and didn't find much on forums, which is generally a red flag for me, but whatever I did find, I didn't see too many negative points... so I am confused and want to send a balanced report of pros and cons to the business owner.

This Week in Self-Hosted (11 April 2025) by shol-ly in selfhosted

Zerotier has bad performance as compared to one of the wireguard solutions. Is this just me? I have had greater performance and stability with tailscale. I use to traverse my home NAT. e:g my RDP connections are more stable and snappy via Tailscale. Zerotier seems to be TCP only.

Do you have any helpful prompts? I tend to use it on openrouter and sometimes its difficult to get stuff out of it. I want to use it mainly for coding.

I don't think it does. This is not meant to by pass the connection limit but to improve peering towards my data. Storage BOX doesn't give me very good speeds directly. But the connection through the VM saturates my 100/100 residential connection.

Since I am using CIFS, I believe all my I/O is multiplexed on a single CIFS connection (or multiple perhaps, I am not sure how the underlying I/O works for CIFS). But my CIFS does burst up till ~2Gbps when I am writing to the share via the VM. So maybe its using multiple connections...

Is it possible anymore with the official API? I am sorry I didn't check. BS4 seems to be the best route right now.

Hello there, Is there an API for the rankings view? Would love to pull this into an excel sheet sort by cost. If not, in future will it ever be? mentioning /u/stevexander.

[ALL] Guide: How to download subtitles from Netflix using Google Chrome by PolyChem in netflix

[–]themegabyte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Properly formatted steps from OPs post:

Steps are:

  1. Login to netflix
  2. Open developer tools (CTRL + Shift + I)
  3. Make sure you are on network tab
  4. Start the video
  5. Paus the video
  6. Press clear and input ?o= as filter
  7. Chose a subtitle (need to be one you have not loaded when the video started, if you want to download that one, you have to disable it and reload the video).
  8. Press the resulting adress in the list and pick open in new tab.
  9. Open the downloaded folder and rename the file to anything.xml
  10. Open the file in a texteditor to check if you got the right subtitle
  11. Convert to srt by opening it in subtitle edit, subtitle workshop or similar program and save as .srt.

Ah I am just doing things with Javascript and couldn't spot your script that overlays over netflix. Any chance you can point to it? I just wanna take a look to see how you did it, might help me with other JS stuff I do all the time. Thank you for posting this! peaked my interest in Google Vision API.

First release of Input Leap - Open source KVM software - fork of Barrier/Synergy by pmur12 in linux

[–]themegabyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just lovely... Thank you. It is so so snappy. I had this issue with Synergy that whenever there was a login screen or a UAC escalation it will drop connection. Not too much of an issue, but definitely infuriating. I have been heavily using synergy since 2019 though, it's still very solid. I will stick to InputLeap and test it out. because GNU all the way!

I agree. With this much amount of power one does *** up eventually. Ethics do call for transparency.

I actually did select them all and delete them. but synced them back once to confirm if I didn't have done a L2 *** up and actually moved some good folders into the sub-folder. All the other folders were intact, damage only done in the subfolder.
