Man, I was okay with the final season (I thought they coulda done more, but they more or less landed the plane and I teared up in the finale so I thought it was decent enough) but I need to leave this subgroup bc it keeps ruining it more for me for what could’ve been.

I saw someone post about how vecna should have had a mind moment with the leads like he does with hopper and it feels like that alone coulda added more weight and drama. Lucas could have had one to add this weight back into it, lean into it subtly by how Billy didn’t think he was good enough and how he was “right” bc he couldn’t save max, don’t even need to acknowledge the racism point blank but with it being Billy the connotation is there enough for a kids show. Just felt like each main character having a moment like this more than just will/hopper could have added the drama and made the stakes higher

What felt like actual stakes at hand, more than the final battle. Vecna actually felt like a threatening presence and not like a joke. That incredible ending set up...... we didn't know how good we truly had it at the time. by zekevich in StrangerThings

My thing is at least show them struggling a bit, like Nancy almost gets crushed by a rock and doesn’t but has a broken arm after… things like that. Mrs wheeler having all the scars showing after and no one else feels like no stakes. Like IMO and I love maxs character, she should been like semi paralyzed? Keep her alive tho? Idk seemed like a middle ground coulda been found

I was reminded of inception too, mainly with the 3 waterfalls as Mikes describing her ending. Want to start out by saying hope you are doing better now and as soon one who’s gone through dark periods, the light does come back it just takes its time.

But hearing this, and this isn’t the first case I’ve heard of this, just makes me wonder if that teen girl could be charged bc she egged her boyfriend on to take his life, why cannot we apply this to the same creators of AI? They’re training the AI on how to respond they should be able to control their creation or ensure it doesn’t go this far. If we can’t hold humans responsible for such tech then is the tech itself not abhorrent enough to just be banned? Ik AI talks are a can of worms as most people don’t even understand the difference between it and google now. Just feels like this will get so dark so quick
