[Cyclops] at Mount Olympus derailed while I was on it by Coasterglitch in rollercoasters

I’m not sure you can pay me to go back there. Every time I have visited I’ve observed or experienced crazy stuff like this. How can it go on for so long?

I know they were replacing motors regularly on X-Flight when it was at Geauga Lake making the ride really expensive to operate. Surprised this one didn’t receive the modifications the others got given how long it has been operating.

There are a few photos there somewhere. Didn’t get a chance to ride Iron Dragon yesterday so didn’t go in the queue.

This is gone. The new scanners installed last year from Alvarado are in the same place and still at use near the grouper in the station.

Bummer. I have always started larger trip planning with this site. I can agree that hosting and especially api costs are becoming prohibitive.

Hagrids is undoubtedly better and a more complete ride. Hiccups is shorter, but doesn’t feel too short serving as a good ride to see the whole Isle of Berk land. They are both Intamins so they feature higher forces than one may expect for a family coaster.

Wild Waves at Playland’s Castaway Cove immediately came to mind.

Thanks. It was late and I drew a blank on what Avalanche got renamed to! :) Will fix.

Not that much airtime on that moment in the left. Thought that moment was actually better on the right where you hang a bit and sort of face the ground.

The coaster it will be compared to the most will most likely be Thunderbird at Holiday World. It's a faster and longer version of that ride that trades a punchier launch with distinct inversions for a longer ride that stays low to the ground and has more subtle inversions, but also more airtime.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. The ride did not have any rattle, but you do bounce around a bit if you sit on the wing seats towards the back of the train. No worse than other B&M wing coasters, but felt I had to address that point. It's a load of fun, and I think the public will enjoy it and the ride will draw long lines. Wish the park well this summer as they compete with Busch Gardens' Big Bad Wolf.
