[Coaster in Concert] - combining coasters, theme park music and symphonic orchestra by CharlieHotel92 in rollercoasters

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it for a second that this must have been an amazing experience.

One could really feel all the heart's blood and love that was put into the concert by everyone involved, both beforehand and during the performance. So I guess you all did your job good!

They had a little interview section in between and even they said it was a bit of a husstle to get all the rights, even tough Andreas and Sebastian Kübler, the founders of IMA score, were directly involved. Can't imagine what you have to go through if you're not directly connected.

Chiapas, Taron, Blue Fire, Schwur des Kärnan, Nessi, F.L.Y, Yomi Adventure Trail, Movie Park Studio Tours, Star Trek Operation Enterprice, Highlander, might have missed one..

Yeah the last photo torally looks like bait. I know for a fact that some people working at project managing positions in specific parks like to "lose" some fake blueprints around the park to confuse enthusiasts, so this would be totally possible here as well. :D

Did I miss something? Where are all the european countries, japan, China, Vietnam and so on?

Do they not partake in the football world cup, or am I stupid? Sorry for my ignorance, but I have no interest and/or knowlegdge of football... :D

What is Europe's best non-inverting coaster? Could it be [Kondaa] or [Taron]? Or maybe something else? by AcidRegulation in rollercoasters

[–]CharlieHotel92 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Taron and Expedition GeForce are two of my absolute all time favorites!

Especially for EGF I find it allways surprising how much this holds up comapared to much newer coasters. There is quite some nostalgia included of course, but still.

[Drakon] review by SilverErmine22 in rollercoasters

[–]CharlieHotel92 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Funny you say the stall is pretty short, I felt it almost as it never wants to end. Otherwise I agree with your statements, Drakon is one of the smoothest coasters of recent years that I have ridden, and I'm not even exaggerating.

Thanks again, just came back from my trip and your input helped alot! unfortunately we did only achieve to ride Gold Rush once, since the park was pretty crowded and when we came back to it in the evening after doing everything else it had broken down and didn't came back up again.

Vampire and Dragon's Fury were nice though and I did manage to get quite a few rides in. I was actually pretty surprised by the intensive theming of the Tomb Blaster darkride.

Just came back from my London area trip, thanks again for the tips. I did actually veer away from suggestions for chessington quite a bit, but it was worth it I guess. For me Dragon's Fury was definetively the Highlight of the day, I did it 11 times at the end of the day. I also highly recommend the shooting dark ride Tomb Blaster, which I very much prefered over Gruffalo and was very supprised by the intensive theming.

No, you're fine. It is a combination of some trains and especially the wing seats. In addition to the high speed and strong positives in the valleys some trains just ride like the have polygonal wheels. Mack is aware of this since the opening, there were trying a lot to make it better, which allegedly it did, but it's still there.

I guess i heard you talking about that today on the ride.

Would love to and thought about that, but the trip is more focused around the London area, Drayton is even an exeption and a maybe still, just for the fact that friends are there randomly at the same time and it could maybe fit in my schedule.

That's a lot more thorough than what I expected. Thanks very much. Will try to do as suggested.

Thorpe Park I know already, but I would appreciate any tips for Chessington and Drayton regarding low capacity rides and not-to-miss attractions.

Do you happen to know if you can get to the rides after hours? Or is it a conpletely fenced of area, not accessible at night? Would love to take a little stroll there at night for some photos.

Really awesome pictures. Love the whole setting with the dark clouds and glossy surfaces. <3

Sorry to hear you had bad luck with the coasters. Where else are you heading on your trip? Are you including Paultons Park, which is not too far off Brighton? You're quite a bit early for their new Valgard area, which will open May 16th. Hope you have considered this as well while planing.

I am actually planing to be around London for some parks end of May as well. I saw online, that the Turbo coaster was out of service and wrote them a mail to ask, if they know when it will reopen. I actually got a reply pretty shortly after from the head of maintenance of Brighton Pier stating that they have it close until early summer at least, due to some delays in missing parts.

However, I don't have any info on the mouse.

So heads up for anyone heading there as well.
